Status: Clean Title I have a 1994 Mazda Miata for sale, in USA - Maryland. Mileage: 117500 Asking price is $5950 OBO Will include matching OEM hard top for $700 more Bought this a little over a year ago as a commuter and pleasure cruiser, but I don't find myself driving it enough to hold onto it. Will be uploading better photos soon. Exterior is in good condition - the paint still shines and there is no rust, but it shows age and has many minor flaws here and there. there is also a mild discoloration on the hood that developed from the turbo heat prior to the heat shielding being installed. Tires are in good condition with plenty of tread, brakes are probably at just under 50% pad wear, rotors in excellent shape. Interior is also in good condition, with no rips or tears to the dash or seating, though the cloth seats do show age somewhat. The head unit is a basic pioneer cd player, but drives all four speakers, which sound great. Recent work - Within the time that I owned the car, I replaced the entire suspension with a flying miata spring/tokico illumina setup, which is fantastic. The exhaust has been rebuilt and is fully custom. It's mildly aggressive with two resonators, a straight through muffler and a straight through high flow cat, but somewhat subdued - it also passed emissions inspection in MD late last year. I've replaced the master and slave clutch cylinders, and the battery is new. I've also replaced the soft top with a new black cloth top with zip down rear plastic window and new rain rail (this work was done less than 3 months ago). Also had a 4 wheel alignment performed less than 1k miles ago. The car has been very reliable and runs very smoothly. It is manual steering and has the AC removed presently, though it will come with the parts to put back the AC, if you wish. There are a number of mods, most of which were done by the previous owner, who was a mechanical engineer that worked for Borg Warner as a product designer. Almost all mods were done within the past 10k miles (have excel file parts/build log) Drivetrain Mods: Turbocharger – BorgWarner EFR 6258 with integrated BPV ECU – Flyin’ Miata Link FM MAP Sensor, AIT Semnsor, Knock Sensor FM Blow-off Valve FM Boost controller Exhaust Manifold - JGS Semi-Custom Injectors – RC 550 WBO2 – Innovate LC-1 Wideband Oxygen Sensor Mazda Torsen Differential Exhaust – Custom w/ 2 Resonators, high flow cat, and straight through muffler Motor Mounts – Mazda Competition Clutch – Flyin’ Miata Level 1 Clutch Kit 318 lb-ft Suspension / Tire / Brake Modifications: Flyin Miata/Tokico Illumina Suspension Drilled / Slotted Rotors Brakes Pads - Axxis F&R Ultimate Tires - 205/50R-15 Kumho Ecsta XS Wheels – Team Dynamics Race 2 Shock Tower Strut Brace Interior / Exterior Modifications: Hard Dog Sport Stainless Roll Bar Rear Lip Spoiler Boost Gauge – Auto Meter Phantom AFR Gauge – Innovate G2 Performance - the previous owner provided me with dyno figures showing that it put down 270whp/250ft-lbs at 12lbs of boost. I lowered the boost to 10lbs since I wanted it reliable for a daily driver. I had the PO test compression last summer, and the figures then were: Cyl #1 - 160 psi Cyl #2 - 148 psi Cyl #3 - 148 psi Cyl #4 - 154 psi Average = 152.5 psi Max-Min = 12 psi Factory Specifications: Max = 182 psi Min = 128 psi Maximum difference allowed between cylinders = 28 psi I have not tested them since then, but the car has been driven only about 2-3k miles in that year. Car also comes with: aluminum Flyin Miata BPV that it came with (the PO was using this until he could get the integrated BPV installed, which I did); many stock parts including AC parts; and a Momo Corse steering wheel and Steering Wheel Hub Adapter that came on the car (had to remove it and reinstall the stock wheel with airbag for MD inspection); and two service manuals - the large factory service manual in the blue binder with all inserts along with a large detailed manual that I can't recall the name of (an excellent guide). Took care of the issues. Gauge is working now and the electrical problem appeared to have been a bad (though new) battery.
