1994 miata - $2000 w/ hardtop
No affiliation, just figured I would throw this out there if anyone was interested. Wish I could buy it, but don't have the loot. Location Madison CT.
1994 miata |
OMG so close to me. i am going to look at it ASAP!
just need to find out where i can get 2 grand |
That motherfucker originally listed it for $1000 then jacked the price up when there was a lot of interest.
|
I am driving down tomorrow to go see it i think. Its about 1 hour from school, 20 minutes from my house
|
Good luck. I bet the deal changes by the time you get there. Something like "someone just offered me X dollars(an amount over $2000)"
|
to be honest i dont even have the money. I'm more curious than anything. I would love to buy it and then split the hardtop and car up, fix the car up and sell it.... But borrowing 2000 from a friend or brother is a lot to ask.
|
With all those problems he'd be lucky to get 1000, if i were him id take the 1000 and run. My 91 is in 100% perfect shape inside and out, and i only paid 2000 for it.
|
this is a 94 AND HAS A HARDTOP.
I am second guessing even bothering going down there tho. By the time i fix all the small problems it wont even be worth it just to get a free hardtop. EDIT: fastcolt... where are you from? |
"some rust on rocker panals, does not have hi beams and needs soft top window...... this car has been kept up and garaged. "
 |
Shit, I bet if you showed up tomorrow before he gets any MORE interest and waved $1800 cash in his face you could drive it home.
People pay $800 for hardtops year round, so you could easily sell that. High miles, rocker rust, and no high beams doesn't make it a junker by any means. |
yeah. im hoping to get this guy on the phone and see whats up.
The first miata i looked at a few years ago when i was rushing to get one was "newly painted in excellent condition". It turned out to be a 1.6L with the worst garage paint job i have ever seen.... white tail pipe and all. The only benefit was how clean the interior was. I RAN away from that car. and then bought the second POS i ran into. I wish i waited and found a perfect shell. |

I live at the shore in NJ so I know all about it.
|
the guy never emailed me back... and im too busy today prepping a car for the Zeta Beta Tau carsmash (put a car on campus and people pay to smash it... all proceeds go to charity)
|
My friend said the same thing when he emailed the guy when it was listed at $1000, no reply. Then it was listed at $2000.
|
I just sent him a email offer him $1000
|
Awesome.
|
Shit, I just want the HT.
|
This guy sounds like a piece of shit just by reading his post.
I will go ahead and email him an offer of $600 with a bullshit devaluating story. Hopefully someone can get a good deal. $600-because I barely missed a 95 with 64K front end damage, and I have most parts to fix it, this morning. Pissed!!! I needs a non-oil-burning motor!!! Sorry end rant |
