I have a 1996 Mazda Miata for sale, in USA - Florida.

Mileage: 104,000 miles


Asking price is $500



Craigslist, no affiliation. Says "clutch needs replacement", but I bet you could swap the clutch master and slave cylinders and drive it home.

Must get rid of this car today. Clutch needs replacement. Runs but won't drive without clutch. Clean title. Needs new top, but workable as-is. Project car, but loads of fun. 104k miles, new timing belt, water pump, hoses, aluminium racing radiator, plugs and wires, brand new A/C, good tires. Has been a daily driver until 2 weeks ago.

I e-mailed the guy twice (first time within 1 hour). No response. I happen to have my old 1.8 clutch sitting in my garage collecting dust and I'm local. Bummer.

Just to follow up. He e-mailed back several days later (me and a bunch of other people), to say he had received an offer for $500, but if someone wanted to offer more (starting at $800), he'd take the highest offer. He also attached pics and shared that the interior was shot. Pics showed several damaged panels. I decided to pass. Really can't stand people offering a price and then raising it after they get interest.

he jerked you around so jerk him back. E-mail him and say you will pay $1,200. then just never show up or show up a month later and be like i'm not intersested or heres $500 cash.

Just letting people know that the listing on craigslist is no longer active...

Not trying to do anything except be helpful with up to date information..

I am shopping...it might save other folks some time..
