I have a 1996 Mazda Miata Turbo for sale, in USA - Minnesota.

Mileage: 85,xxx miles

Asking price is $5,500

Hi everyone. I have a 1996 Mazda Miata for sale that I've been working on for the last year.

It has:
Engine:
FM Log Manifold
BEGI-S DP
Chinese GT2560
9psi, full spool by 3,500rpm starting at 2,000 in 5th
60mm OBX dual exhaust, bumper cut for second exit
Medium sized ebay FMIC and 2" charge pipes

Drivetrain:
Unsprung ACT 6-puck + HD PP
Stock 5-speed
4.3 rear end open diff

Electonics:
Innovative LC-1
Brain-built DIYMS-I
RX7 460cc injectors
Koso Oil pressure gauge
Ebay boost gauge

Suspension/Handeling/safety:
205-40-16 Yokohama Parada Spec-2 (Not mounted, you will need a different size wheel. I was going to get them, but I need a more practical car)
Raceland coilovers
Hard Dog M1 roll bar
Corbeau A4 + 4pt harness

There are bad things about it, primarily:
-It needs a new bumper (rear)
-The racing stripes need to be finished
-Needs exhaust work
-Clutch release and input shaft bearing are squeaking, but they should be fine for a while
-Leaks a little bit of oil and coolant. Have not tracked these down.
-Temp gauge wire broke
-The coilpack is getting weak and is on it's way out, it will need to be replaced relatively soon.

Within the past 5k miles, it's had:
-New clutch
-New rear main seal
-Fluids changed

That sort of thing. The body is in overall good condition, with the exception of a little bit of paint overspray on the bumper and the lack of a rear bumper. Both can be fixed for little money. Basically everything wrong with the car can be fixed for a hundred bucks or so and a weekend or two worth of work. I'm just tired of this car, I want something more reliable, comfortable and not as high-strung. I will trade for a clean E30 BMW, prefereably with the M20 series engine, but I will consider an M10. 325iS will win me over, just saying.

Call/text me with any questions at 612-741-9232 with any questions or what not. Name's Cullen.

If this doesn't sell or I don't get interest, I'm going to fix everything and re-list it for 6. I've tried being as honest as possible about everything that's wrong or needs doing here, I don't think I left anything out.

Better pictures in a sec, they're uploading.

This last picture (Sorry about the light) shows what I mean by the exhaust problem - the right one is up much higher than the left one. That's because I'm running a 1.6dp and cat and it exits about 1" farther forward than what is actually correct - an elongated test pipe or exhaust modification should fix this easily.

NOTE: This also comes with a big box full of most of the stock parts (MAF, exhaust, injectors, cat, ecu, that sort of thing). It might have all of them, but I'm not going to guarantee it.

ALSO NOTE: I didn't clean it because I wanted to show a fake image of the car.

UPDATES: Overspray on bumper is fixed. There is a new, primed bumper for this sitting in my garage yet because it's not had the exhaust fixed yet (I've been quoted at 285 for a 3" DP from Abe and a catback can be built for around 150).

Also has stock seat belt, no more harness. No headunit right now because I was going to get a new one. The cover for the driver's side door speaker fell off. Included with car, it will just need to be glued.

Price lowered to 5k.

THIS DOESN'T NEED A LOT OF WORK TO BECOME AN AMAZING CAR. It already works brilliantly. I drove this to Cedar Rapids, IA and back (Around 600 miles) and it didn't miss a single bet or loose any fluids.

are the stripes painted on or "stickers?" I notice the stripes end prior to the trunk, and personally I would rather have it all white than part striped part not. JMO.
