Northern NJ isn't that far away sir. Shipping can be arranged easily. There are cheap flights from Philly to Atlanta all the time and I'm only 1 hr 40 mins from the airport. I can pick you up no problem.

5 speed, I think it's running around 18 psi right now, it made 240hp and tq at 16 psi.

I called and emailed but no response so I'll just ask my questions here.

I'm looking for a car to compete in a time attack series. You say you are selling because this car is too expensive? I'm not sure what car can be made cheaper at the level where it's at however that is besides the point (maybe you are interested in the 24 hours of lemons).

Like you, I would also have to bolt the seat to the floor as I am too tall and won't pass the broomstick test. Any reason you did not do this? Does the car have any deficiencies in its dynamics that it wouldnt be a killer platform? Does the crazy power this miata puts down make it more of a straight line type car (it can obviously go around corners but I am comparing it to an OEM vehicle with similar power to weight ratios but with different suspension geometry, i.e. competitive)?

The deal looks very good for the general public, but pending the answers I am hoping to hear, very good for me.

Cleaned out my inbox, sorry guys.

Malereka,
I do race in Lemons/Chump car already, so that is my racing of choice at this time. I do not bolt a seat to the floor because I didn't have time to make a low profile bracket nor did I want to modify the floor of a car I was driving on the street.

This car would do well in time attack and is ready for more upgrades. It is not a straight line drag racing car by any means. The miata drive train isn't designed for the kind of shock loading created in drag racing competitively.

Your not going to be at the Mitty this year are you? I'd love to see the car in person. But at your convenience lol.

I wasn't planning on it but it may be a possibility. It's not far for me to drive but I may have other plans or work.

I can't believe this has a built engine, let alone all the other parts all for this price. This should be sold.

You should sell this up in Canada and get $15k

Buy it from me and resell it up north. My friends in Montreal can't seem to get their lives together to help me out here either.

Any reason it couldn't make the 1000+ mile trip to NJ?

Not that I know of, we could work on the idle control some to make it easier on you.
