I'm keeping it. I drove it yesterday and I fell back in love with it. It's the most raw fun car I've ever driven and it's safer than a motorcycle, especially considering the gf likes to go out on drives when we can.

If it makes you feel better, I'm still rocking that custom machined down compressor I bought from you like 4 years ago.
Glad to see you're keeping your car.

Good to hear you're keeping the car. Too bad nobody jumped on this deal, including me. I sometimes want to hit my head. I should have sold my car before my turbo install and bought your car. I would have saved a lot of money.

That's what many of us have done. Most don't realize how much time and money go into building these, and only a handful of people can do it cleanly. They normally end up with tons of money thrown at them and very hacked.

Well now I need a utility vehicle for work so the miata has to go. For some reason it won't tow a trailer and the boot isn't big enough for all my supplies.

Car is again up for sale. Nothing's changed, same awesome car. Come and get it.

Do you have any kind of emissions testing where you are? Wondering if this could pass the testing in NYS.

There are emissions testing facilities but I've never lived somewhere I had to get my vehicles tested. They're all registered in Alaska and I have an Alaska license. This car doesn't have a cat, but I have a 300 cell cat I could weld in if the buyer wanted.

i... I CAN'T BELIEVE IT. i knew this car and its story looked/felt familiar... so I searched through some of my old posts...

https://www.miataturbo.net/cars-sale...e3/#post662743

Fancy that.

Now I'm looking at getting a Miata again... Have yet to talk the wife into it, but considering that the money is coming from an insurance settlement from an accident that destroyed my last toy (Buell XB12R), I think I can talk her into it.

My biggest hestitation, however, is the tuning. I don't know how to tune myself (though I'm sure I could learn...)

There are quite a few Miatas on here that are comparably priced. I must know: what makes yours the best? Not challenging -- just sell me on it. Why is this the best $8k Miata ever?

It's right in my price range, and I'm willing to travel.....

Yeah it's still available. Buyers continue to back out and I continue to drive it up the road and back every once in a while.

Drove the car again today. Love it. Just don't have time for it.
Last person that test drove it loved it as well. Car won't pass Georgia emissions testing is the only reason he wouldn't buy it.

Any interest in a trade for a 99 M3? The blower motor just stopped working last week, and it has a rebuilt title (had a strut punch through the rear strut tower in 2003 in an accident, counts as structural damage). PM me for more info.
