For sale is a 2002 Mazda Miata SE track car in Blazing Yellow. Set your expectations correctly and be pleasantly surprised - it is a car that I have used for track work since purchased on 5/2016. Reason for sale is that it was time to move on to something a little quicker; I'm now driving an E36 M3 on track and dealing with all the maintenance headaches that entails. Avoid all that and drive a well setup, dead reliable Miata track car and enjoy the low maintenance and running costs that come along with it. The paint is in great shape for the age and usage, and cleans up very well. There are some minor door dings around the car but nothing major. The paint is faded on the appearance package plastic as it is on all SE edition Miatas (a little worse in person than it is in the pictures). Maintenance has been performed well ahead of schedule in every instance. Interior is stripped of any extraneous functions. There is no A/C, radio, P/S, airbags or cruise control. These things were removed as extra systems that did not improve speed or durability on track. I do have most of the components you would need to reinstall P/S if desired. The car is track ready in the most complete sense - it is ready to drive to the track, be driven hard around the track, and drive home. The safety equipment includes Ultrashield 16" seats, Schroth 6 point harnesses, a Hard Dog roll bar w/ optional door bars. Flyin Miata clutch, stiff engine mounts, and the Mazda Roadster short shifter make this a complete joy to drive and shift.

Full disclosure, this car was previously supercharged via a Kraftwerks kit but I preferred the car without it so that was removed after spending about 10k on the car. Currently it is running excellently, N/A, full stock engine and exhaust. The undertray has been removed to make maintenance easier.
