Up for sale is my 2004 MazdaSpeed Miata MX-5. I have owned and parted out many different miata's, both turbo and NA. This car provides a great balance between performance, comfort and reliability.

I picked this up at the begging of the summer from a guy in Chicago ( I live in Chicago Suburbs). He was a Mazda fanatic, owned a total of 3 Mazdas, including this one. He swore that he only drove it in the summer, and I believe him because there is no rust on the car, and very minimal surface rust on control arms, bolts, etc. ( like I've said, I have seen my fair share of miatas). There is no rust anywhere else on the car. However, the car does have HAIL DAMAGE. I had the intent to do PDR, or even a complete repaint, however, winter is around the corner and I've decided to sell it instead.

As far as the drivetrain, everything is in good shape. I mean the car had 59k miles, by far the lower mileage miata I've owned, and everything feels like new. Suspension feels great, I have owned dropped miatas and I would pick this for everyday driving instead of that any day ( I remember having to corner driveways and such in order not to scrape my front end, which would happen anyway on the way out). Engine is in good shape. No burning oil, no leaks, when you open the valve cover cap, camshafts look like new. Clutch and transmission also feel great, no grinds.

It worth mentioning, that all fluid are and have always been, at least according to previous owner, Royal Purple. The car recently had an oil change, transmission fluid change, and differential fluid change with Royal Purple.

Furthermore, the car has minor upgrades such as: Greddy BOV, TurboSmart Boost Controller, Flying Miata Exhaust, FM intercooler, injectors, Icebox for water and sprayers for intercooler. All done by previous owner, not me. I connot varify parts that are not obvious. Also, according to last owner, the car's OEM ECU was flashed to run 12 lbs. Currently its running at 8 lbs. I have never turned up the boost, frankly because I was lazy. I was in the miata scene years ago, I though I would get back into it with this car, but I have no interest.

Again, the car has HAIL DAMAGE. I have described it to the best of my knowledge.

I want $8,000 FIRM for the car. I have priced PDR in my area to be $750 and a full paint job from a reputable shop at $2000. I feel like my asking price is fair, considering the prices people are asking for MSM in good shape. Call or text me at 224-639-6050. I know there are people on here that are inclined to make empty offers at 50% of the asking price, please save your time and mine. Like I mentioned, I am not new to miatas, or miata scene.

You keep mentioning there was hail damage but to what extent?

Are the hood, trunk, and doors covered in dents?
Is the top covered in small little holes?

The car looks clean in the pictures so I am trying to gauge what the extent of the damage is from a hail storm.
