1994 Miata M-Edition - Salvaged - SoCal
I have made the decision to sell my Miata. I orginally bought this car as an impulse buy when a friend of mine called me from a car auction. This car was hit in the driver's side door. Total damage was driver's door and fender. There is absolutely no frame damage, it was amazing that it had a salvage title.
This Miata was bought for the sole purpose of taking it to the track. Unfortunately, that dream was never fulfilled. Due to the lack of time, I have never been able to track it.
The car currently has 89k miles and runs perfectly. All fluids have been changed to red-line oil and engine oil is constantly replaced every 3 months regardless of miles (2000-2500 miles). Air Conditioning blows ice cold. Overall, the mechanical condition is a 9/10.
The Exterior of the vehicle has been slightly modified. Currently a Rat-Pack front lip is installed and is painted flat black. Turn signals are smoked aftermarket units and side markers are tinted black. Unfortunately, there are some defects in the exterior. As you can see in the pictures, the front bumper has various scratches and marks. The passenger fender has ding that is noticeable in some angles. The front hood has a ~.5" paint crack in the middle of the "hump". The convertible top has seen better days. There are various tears that have been filled and the back window is slightly faded. The top does not leak. I was planning on replacing this with a hardtop when i had the chance. I would rate the exterior a 6/10 due to the top.
The M-edition interior is in fairly good condition. Both driver and passenger seats have small tear marks. I was planning on buying the synthetic leather covers from Iggee upholstery before my decision of selling the car. I currently have an upgraded sound system installed as the factory system was no where near acceptable in a convertible. The headunit is a JVC which can play MP3s and accepts SD cards. Polk Audio Components are installed in the front doors that are being powered by a Hifonics 5 channel Amplifier. Headrest speakers have also been upgraded. The 10" Infinity "Perfect" subwoofer fits snuggly into the trunk. Unlike other subwoofers in miatas, this one still keeps the factory spare tire and jack while still leaving enough room for groceries and other small items. The Vehicle is also equipped with a "Pro Lock" security system. This is an extra chip key that must be inserted otherwise the car can not be started. For safety, I have installed a Boss-Frog Clear View roll bar. This roll bar is hardtop compatible. Because of the location of any roll bar made for a miata, the seat belts are slightly affected. The belts function 100% but do not retract all the way when you exit the vehicle. If i was to rate the interior, i would rate it a 7/10 due to the small tears in the seats.
The vehicle has various suspension modifications. The shocks have been replaced with a coil-over system that is both height and damper adjustable. The current height of the vehicle is set to a "middle" level. It can go much lower if you like the "slammed" look. Flyin Miata sway-bars replaced the factory sway-bars.
My asking price is $4200. Due to my need for a 4 door later on this year, i will continue to lower the price as winter comes. If you have any questions, Please send me an E-mail at JoBamBo@Gmail.com.

Most Miatas that i have seen are in a lot worse condition than mine. I just happen to honestly describe the vehicle to save both the buyer's and my time.
