99 Miata with 03 bottom end ready for boost $5500
Shiny red 1999 Miata 5spd with black interior and 122K miles
Runs/drives great...no issues. The top is black with glass rear window and is in great shape except for one tiny hole in the side (looks like someone locked their keys in the car ;-) The paint is good except for on the front bumper and the driver side mirror. The interior is in very good shape (slight wear on driver side seat...but not bad). The car is very light (no ABS, PS or AC) has a Racing Beat header, quick release Sparco steering wheel, A pillar dual gauge pod, and a fresh 2003 bottom end with a fresh 99 head. It also has a new ACT Xtreme pressure plate and clutch along with a Flying Miata light weight flywheel. More pics here: Photo Gallery: /forsale/99miata Located in Hendersonville, NC |

Price dropped to $4900, new/functional CD player installed, Magnaflow muffler installed (sounds good now), proper Mazdaspeed Motorsports AC delete blower duct added, nappy Sparco steering wheel cleaned up...

is the bottom end built with forged internals?
|
The bottom end is stock....
|
overselling "ready for boost" then aren't you?
|
"Ready for boost" is open for interpretation.... All Miata's are ready for *some* boost...and the 03 bottom end in a 99 is considered stronger and it has a clutch that can handle more power and thus I feel the add is not misleading. It made you look...which is what the title is meant for :giggle:
But yeah....it does not have forged internals, or an EMS, or a LSD, or big rubber, or a 6speed, or an upgraded fuel pump/injectors, or a rollbar or any of the other $1000s worth of items one could easily debate as needed for boost. |
isnt the '03 engine a higher compression engine?
|
yes, it goes up from 9.5:1 in the 99 to 10.0:1 for the 01+ engines.
