my definition of complete is different than yours, but that car could still be a good deal for a donor.

Arkmage 11-14-2007 04:40 PM

that would be pretty easy fix I think. The damage is high enough that the unibody is likely still pretty straight. If you replace all the panels and stuff yourself and have a shop check the unibody and do the paint you could probably rebuild it for <$2500. $3,500 for a '99 isn't horrible.

Flippy02 11-14-2007 04:43 PM

the hardtop alone is worth that

nester 11-14-2007 05:45 PM

Hardtop is gone, per the info on the ad.

I can go take a look at it if anyone's curious about specific parts. I know the seller.

If this was local, I would be running over myself to get to his place cash in hand asap.

Torsen, running 1.8L, blah blah.

Edit: Just saw the motor may be toast. Not as great deal, but still ok.

miatanutz 11-14-2007 08:10 PM

If that was near Atlanta it would have been sold to me 5 minutes after it was posted.

redrumracer 11-14-2007 09:35 PM

that would be a good donor car, i wonder how much he wants for the rims and tires

Zabac 11-14-2007 09:45 PM

that car can be salveged...i used to do this for a living
but only if one was to do it on his own, not worth it to have a shope rip you off

how much for the whole rear diff setup? shipped to 32837?

i want to swap this 1.8 rear diff into my 93 NA... is that possible? and is this the swap i'm looking for? sorry, i dont know very much regarding rear diffs, and have just begun to break the barrier into fuel/air tuning :newbie:

thesnowboarder 11-15-2007 03:05 AM

Gokou, the poster of this is not the owner of the 99. But To my understanding you will need the halfshafts, drive shaft, axles to swap it into your 93, im currently looking for a torsen myself as well.

Ben 11-15-2007 11:42 AM
