My friend & colleague is selling his '99 Miata. Nice car. He's a member here on mt.net but not enough posts to place an ad. So, I'm helping a brother out.

His words follow this colon:

1999 Mazda Miata with CARB-legal Turbo Kit: $8,000

94,774 miles. 5-speed manual. Excellent condition, no rust, interior is in fantastic shape.

Flyin' Miata FM2 CARB-legal turbo kit with intercooler (a $4,800 package back in 2002), at last dyno test made 225 hp at the wheels before 3-inch custom turbo-back stainless exhaust was installed.

Koyo aluminum radiator, coolant re-route kit, ACT clutch and flywheel, Torsen limited-slip differential. Bilstein PSS9 coilovers, Kosei K1 15x7 wheels, Dunlop Direzza Sport Star Spec tires, Flyin' Miata front/rear adjustable anti-roll bars with Racing Beat poly end links, front shock tower brace, Flyin' Miata underbody butterfly brace, steering rack de-powered by Blackbird Fabworx, Blackbird Fabworx rear bumper cut,

Eyesore Racing airdam with custom brake ducting for Trackspeed brake ducts (for track use only), braided Goodridge brake lines, track and street brake pads included, AEM gauge pack, new floormats, new spark plug wires, recent oil change.

Also, all original parts pre-turbo install will be included.

The only problem I've had with this car is that it can run hot during track days with high temps, hence the reason I installed the AEM gauge pack so I could properly monitor. It has never actually overheated on me, but the coolant temp can get pretty high. If you're buying for the track I would recommend an oil cooler (the one thing I didn't get to) and possibly vent the hood in some fashion. For any kind of street driving in normal temps, it runs perfectly. Pretty darn quick, too.

Nice looking car - GLWS. Just curious - what is that "EYESORE" racing airdam made out of?

edstmx5 12-09-2015 07:38 PM

airdam looks to be made of lawn edging

Sorry something caught my eye.

Is that car from Houston? The license plate holder says Jeff Haas. Local (GOOD) dealer.
