Some call the Exocet the “Poor Man's Ariel Atom”, and for good reason. Maintenance cost on it is dirt cheap, insurance is almost laughable, and it gets more smiles per gallon than anything I've driven before. This thing is an absolute blast to drive, and handles like it is on rails. With a wet weight of ~1500lbs, the factory Miata motor is more than enough to put a smile on your face - although boosting it was my plan eventually. I took every step to build this car right, from stripping and powder coating every part, body panel and subframe/suspension piece and replacing every bushing and maintenance item during the build. I have hundreds of pictures taken from every step of the project. The car has a Certificate of Origin from Exomotive, making your trip to the DMV as smooth as can be. A recent change in my state now prohibits me from registering this car as street legal. As much as it pains me to do, I am selling the car as-is and letting the new owner finalize the car and get it on the road or track. I cannot afford for this to be a track only machine, so up for sale she goes. The Good: Currently, the car runs, drives, and can pass a safety inspection. Headlights, tail lights, and brake lights all work as intended. With all new suspension, bushings, sway bars, tires, and LSD, it grips like nobody's business. To Do: Your job as the new owner of this beast is to finish riveting in the body panels (interior and exterior), tidy up the wiring as you see fit, as the loom is exposed currently; and permanently mounting the fuel and brake lines with the included P-clips. Yes, P-clips and all rivets are included. Shipping: The car is NOT street legal or registered currently, and will need to be trailered/ shipped to her new home. Truck/trailer is recommended, because the new owner will take home the hood, trunk, side panels, and a host of factory Miata parts I have for this car. Please do your research before making an offer or reaching out to see if you can register this vehicle for road use in your state, OR have it be your dedicated track machine.
