Pros:
this car has a very safe tune. the boost is set at 13 psi, that way this motor will last forever. redline is set at 7200 rpm, and it still gets 25 mpg city/30 mpg highway. the body is a 7.5 out of 10, interior is an 8 out of 10,and the motor is a 10 out of 10

Cons:
the body has 2 minor dents, and it could use a new paint job.
the seats are worn out on the top.

Any comments?

samnavy 08-08-2008 09:40 PM

Price is right... but throw an around each of your photobucket links so it actually shows the picture.

msmiata 08-08-2008 09:42 PM

samnavy I dont undestand,(im very computer stupid) can you not click on the links and see the car?

Atlanta93LE 08-08-2008 09:47 PM

If you want to sell that car, you'll need to either drop the price or fix the glaring cosmetics (mainly, seats and paint). Looks like a nicely built motor and turbo setup, but it's tough to get $7.5k out of an early NA, especially with it looking pretty rough.

msmiata 08-08-2008 09:55 PM

Atlanta93LE thanks for the advice the price is obo....

samnavy 08-08-2008 10:36 PM

Yes, I can click on every link, but it would be better if I could simply see them in this ad rather than taking time out to click on them. I can't buy your car, but it would be easier for potential buyers if they didn't have to click individually on every single link.

Type in

samnavy 08-08-2008 10:38 PM

^You can link any picture on any website anywhere by putting the IMG brackets around it. Here's the mt.net logo at the top of the page. Right click, properties, COPY the URL, paste it in the body of your post, and put the IMG brackets around it:

Change this http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e1...ANDMORE024.jpg

To this

In order to illustrate my point, I left a space after , otherwise, you'd see this ->http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e1...ANDMORE024.jpg

I don't know. A fully built 1.6 and if its set up mechanically, the body and interior work could be done for barely a quarter of the price of what the mechanical parts are worth.

msmiata 08-16-2008 07:30 PM

$7000 obo

jwarriner 08-22-2008 11:46 PM

Part it out and it's worth probably more than $7000, as a car it's worth $1800. Sorry but a car is never worth more than high blue book for its condition unless you find the rare person who knows it's receipt value and has money to burn. Good luck on that.

That thing looks fucked to death.

EDIT:

Wanted to mention, normally I wouldn't have said shit- I'm of the opinion that if you don't like the price of something don't buy it and shut up- but you asked. Being in the DSM world for over 10 years, I noticed nobody could ever sell complete cars for anything close to what they were worth. Everyone parted them out, including myself.

locomonkeyboricua 09-09-2008 04:33 PM

i have the same issue i cant get 7000 for my fm turbo miata. its better to part out and maybe you will make back 5000 because unless you paint and get new seats that body wont sell. better get macco and some cheap seats on ebay.

I disagree. Why piss another grand down the rathole when it won't net you another grand in value? No one is going to put value in a cheapo paint job.

Part it and move on.

gamman 09-23-2008 03:58 AM

pm me on your car

m2cupcar 09-23-2008 09:11 AM

Wow gamman- this looks like the ideal car for you. It's got the mechanicals you're looking for and you'll get some FM support with those parts.

IcantDo55 09-23-2008 11:41 PM

sell me the motor.

gamman 09-25-2008 12:39 AM

pretty much, great engine, shit bod/interior. It may be a bit not that nice for me, but the owner needs to get back to me soon, as I am thinking of buying a e36 and just gutting it, to get the weight down to compete with a miata.
