Default FS: 1990 Miata w/Turbo + lots of goodies

The turbo Miata is for sale. Spent too much money on this one, and it's time for something else. Listed below is *most* of what is installed. This does not include all of the blood and sweat I put into it over the last couple years. Car was in a minor fender bender a year and a half ago. (pics available) Car has a straight chassis, and a clean title.

1990 Miata, A-Package. 222k miles on chassis, 100k on motor, 30k on transmission and 50k on differential/axles. NO RUST.

Asking $4,500 firm w/o pictured wheels and tires, or $5,100 with wheels/tires. Car will come with factory Daisies if you choose to purchase without the 15's.

- Flyin Miata FMII turbo kit, 2560R turbo
- MegaSquirt Standalone ECU (needs dyno time)
- RX-7 460cc high impedance injectors
- Manual boost controller
- Flyin Miata dual-feed fuel rail
- Ceramic coated turbo manifold, outlet, turbo
- Flyin Miata aluminum radiator
- Flyin Miata metal head gasket
- Mazda Competition motor mounts
- Corksport 2.5" exhaust
- Gutted factory catalytic converter
- 1.8 brake upgrade

- ACT Heavy Duty clutch
- Flyin Miata 10.3lb flywheel
- GAZ coilover suspension (32-way adjustable)
- Flyin Miata Sway bars

- JVC CD player
- Pioneer door speakers
- eBay steering wheel
- PLX Wideband w/gauge
- NB shift ****
- Hard Dog M1 Hard Core roll bar (SCCA legal)
- Power mirrors (need to be wired)

Additional items completed:

- 1.6 long nose crank engine from a 1992 (all seals/gaskets are new)

- Re-painted engine bay factory color
- New trunk carpet

Bad things:

- Injectors will need to be cleaned, although they currently work ok
- Brakes will need to be replaced soon
- Parking brake does not work (cables?)
- Still has original suspension bushings

Any other questions, just message me

I really like the car, it looks clean, what wheels are on it in the pic?

Good luck with the sale, I wish I was closer, or I'd be tempted.

Wheels in the picture are ATS DTC Super Lights. 15x8 +30et with 225/45/15 Hankook RS2s. My new project has the same bolt pattern, and just about the same offset as a Miata so I plan on keeping them. Car will come with stock Daisies to the new owner.

That's a pretty engine bay, and I love the 8" Comp Lites. I'm torn between a set of those, or 6UL's for my SE-R.

Giving it another go, eh? Good luck!
Do you have dyno numbers since switching to the 2560?

No dyno numbers, car does need some dyno time though. Tuesday I will be sending my MS harness off for repair since vibration keeps breaking wires off, then I may get it tuned if it doesn't sell before then.

If you were any closer to Atlanta that car would have been in my driveway hours after you posted it! Great deal - clean engine bay. I was looking at the new FM catalog this morning - looks like they are using a picture of your engine bay for the Voodoo kit example. That should add a few buck to the value of the car right there!

Guy that is interested in buying it is currently in GA.

FYI, the car may be sold pending a compression test.

I do still have it. Haven't heard from the other guy since last wednesday and I need this thing gone, so whoever comes up with the cash first takes it.

Also, after adding up all my receipts I have decided to raise the price to $4,500 firm. Wheels/tires can be included for another $600.

I am the proud new owner of this car. I will de-noob myself as well as post updates on it when I get it. However....
I have been waiting three weeks now for the shipping company to pick it up! Anyone have any tips? It needs to move from Grand Junction, CO, to Albany, NY. The shipping company contracts out the ships, and simply haven't found any of their "affiliates" who want to pick it up in CO.
