Doyle Ritchie says he didn’t realize he was breaking the law when he kept the deer in his backyard after it was hit by a car and later attacked by dogs. But recently, the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries took the deer and Ritchie was charged with the misdemeanors, including illegal possession of a wild animal.
Students who take the government’s driver’s ed class are four times more likely to crash than those who don’t take the classes.

All of which must have been pretty confusing for Altero Matteoli, the infrastructure minister in Italy’s last government, who had warmly recommended for a post in the new government one Franco Braga, also a professor, but of construction engineering at Rome’s Sapienza University.
