Fair enough. This might be your most honest answer ever!

I'd say not being a part of it would be a good start. Let everyone know you won't be a tool. Let them know how stupid this whole thing is and you won't perpetuate it. Don't just say what every media outlet is saying, say what you really want: this shit doesn't add up.

Which is what Brain is doing by spreading dumb ass meme's as useless as it might seem.

I get that. But in this particular context, it's the proverbial "preaching to the choir."

Maybe, maybe not. You never know who might be reading this.

Take me for example. I stopped reading, watching the news back in the early 90's. It wasn't because I thought they were bias but because I thought they were trying to be entertainment. Well, I don't want to be entertained, I want to be informed. So Trump comes along and starts calling out the media bias. Obviously I had no idea what he was talking about since I don't watch the news. But it is rather obvious to me now that not only is the media just a bunch of sensationalists hacks, but bought and paid for sensationalist hacks. So he may have been preaching to the choir, but he was so fucking loud, some of us heard him from outside the church walls.

Philadelphia rolls out COVID-19 vaccination requirements for indoor dining establishments

Philadelphia has seen infection rates double in the last few weeks and hospitalizations increase by about 50%.
According to the article, 76% of those 18 and over in Philadelphia are fully vaccinated, yet they have seen cases rise more than 50% over a short period of time, so naturally it is because the 24% unvaccinated.

It’s also so dangerous they’re willing to wait until after the busy Christmas season to begin enforcement of it.

how exactly will discriminating against 24% of the population prevent the spread of covid when the vaccinated still spread and become infected/hospitalized with covid?

z31maniac 12-14-2021 12:54 PM

Oklahoma county is north of 90% vaccinated. And our cases have been going down.

https://oklahoma.gov/covid19.html

OK (in general) in the last month has averaged 600 cases or so a day and steadily increased to 1,245 cases a day; a ~100% increase in daily cases...

https://www.mayoclinic.org/coronavir...9/map/oklahoma
COVID-19 data for Oklahoma County, OK

For 12/11/21
Oklahoma County Average daily cases: 287.3, Per 100,000 people: 36.7
Oklahoma Average daily cases: 625.6, Per 100,000 people: 41.5

for 11/11/21
Oklahoma County Average daily cases: 91, Per 100,000 people: 11.7

The county is not that far behind the state's average... and going from 91 cases a day to 287 seems like an increase to me. but I'm not a mathematician.

Braineack 12-14-2021 02:38 PM

I'm just going to quote myself here because it's now very topical:

It's weird this data seems to correlate with my wild conspiracy theories.

It's also weird that GA has roughly the same population of Greece, much lower vaccination rates, and yet a much lower average of covid cases per 7 days. 1,305 vs ~6,500.

We even have super-spreader sporting events in GA recently...

What I find most odd is, if you go back a month, things have only gotten much worse for the most % vaxxed states, but the lowest 10 have stayed steady or improved:

https://media.patriots.win/post/QhrvbCaY.png

drip, drip, drip. damn leaky faucet.

I draw the following conclusions:
  • the vaccine does NOT slow the spread/transmission of covid.
  • the vaccine INCREASES the spread of covid.
  • the vaccine possibly INCREASES your chances of being infected with covid, or at least does not reduce your chances on being infected with covid.

In one month (starting on Nov 6):
the Top most vaccinated states went from 12,400 cases a day to 26,113 cases a day -- a 110% increase.
the Least vaccinated states went from 5,575 cases a day to 7,595 cases a day -- a 36% increase.

conclusion: the vaccine exacerbates the spread of covid.

I have a Dr friend that had to get involved in his best friend's care, or the friend would have passed. Remotely, he was able to get the hospital to stop remdesivir. The next step in the protocol, he was to be placed on a vent. The hospitals are following CDC protocol and it's killing people.

He convinced the hospital to use the FLCCC (sp?) protocol, and he made a complete turnaround in a day. No vent required, just supplemental o2. Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine are in this protocol.

And Biden added 5 million jobs.

Every state/county has that same spike in Delta starting in Sept. Your county is not special. Your vaccination rate is not helping the current upswing across the nation, if it was it would be staying flat but now a new variant is running around and you're not protected from it.

As i illustrated, the rate of cases, right now, not this past summer, is increasing at a much rapid rate in states with higher vaccination rates.

I used to weight 190lbs in jan of 2020. By Oct i was 147. Today I'm 155. I don't claim I'm 43lbs lighter today. In fact, i actually consider myself 8lbs heavier and should lose the fat...
