Umm, Foreign Affairs it the magazine of the highly exclusive Council on Foreign Relations ("CFR"). They are comprised of the biggest movers and shakers in this country, including lots of high powered politicians and the financial, corporate, and media elite. Membership includes:

Gov't:
Bill Clinton, Michelle Obama, David Rockefeller, Al Gore, Colin Powell, Dick Cheney, Sandra Day O'Connor (Judiciary), Madeleine Albright, Senators Dodd and Lieberman, various Congressmen.

Federal Reserve:
Greenspan and Volker

Financial and corporate elite:
Various CEOs and execs of:
Chase, Citicorp, Exxon, Texaco, Mobil, GM, Ford, Pfizer, Dow

Media:
Various CEOs, execs, and editors-in-chief of:
CBS, NBC, ABC, NPR, AP, Wasington Time, NYT, CNN, Time, Newsweek

Check out the resume of the writer:

Matthew Kroenig is an assistant professor of Government at Georgetown University and a Stanton Nuclear Security Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations.

From July 2010 to July 2011, he was a Special Advisor in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, responsible for the development and implementation of Middle East defense policy and strategy.
That it came out in Foreign Affairs means that the inner circle wants to convince all the members that an attack on Iran is a good thing (for them of course).

Here's a book about the CFR:
