Gov't spending per household now exceeds median income

Pretty incredible. Average gov't spending per household is >$50k, median income <$50k.

They should just GIVE people a paycheck without requiring them to do any work.

Like, hey, you're an american citizen, here's $2000 a week. Enjoy freedom.

We will finally achieve nirvana in the entire existence of mankind.

Yesterday I got a liberal douche to proclaim:
He is educated, and for that reason dissenting arguments are invalid (without considering his audience)
He blamed rape on women for drinking
Stated that defenseless rape and victimization was a small price to pay for a gun-less society.

The dude is bat-shit crazy and he can't be the only one. Rather than debate, he chose to belittle me for my choice in sunglasses, clearly a parady picture. Then, I noticed that on his profile pic, he's wearing a nearly identical design, lol.

The moral of the story is that these idiots think this kind of shit is "progress" and we're in serious fucking trouble considering we have four more years of Hussein Obamadinijad.

The author cites a bunch of data, comparing two discrete time periods with no context, then leaps to the following conclusion with no supporting commentary or evidence:

I calculated the total net government spending per household in 2010 for my new book, “Completely Predictable.” I think the number demonstrates how completely predictable the fiscal crisis our country faces has become.

A nation whose government spends per family more than the typical family earns is on the road to ruin.

Maybe you have to buy his book to figure out how that data leads to financial ruin and a fiscal crisis in the United States.

well money isnt real, and the author assumes it is, so therfore he cant be correct in saying something is going to happen to something that isn't really real.

Maybe his analysis is based on the Reinhart & Rogoff 90% debt-to-GDP cliff?

Whenever I hear "white privilege" I sit back and listen because I know I'm about to hear about the joys of welcoming a culture so understanding of women's rights and religious freedom.
