Obama's Bus: the Magic revealed

O doubles down on taxpayer debt with his "bus tour of America".

http://www.examiner.com/conservative...complete-fraud

After the Secret Service paid $2.2 million to purchase two special buses for a three-day "bus" tour, it has now been leaked by an anonymous AP reporter that Obama and even the buses were actually flown all the way along the tour. The AP reporter is being quoted as saying that "Obama might have ridden these expensive buses for one mile at each stop". If this breaking story is true, Obama flew in Air Force One to very near each stop and the two new buses were supposedly flown in C-17's so that he could have the appearance of being on a bus tour of the Midwest, yet was really being flown into each and every stop.

In what was billed by Republicans as the "debt-end bus tour" of Barack Obama, the taxpayers actually went way more into debt to pay for it. Also, since the trip was not considered an official campaign trip, the DNC did not pay one single dime of it.

There are various links on this breaking story but no concrete source of confirmation as of yet. If in the coming days, reliable sources confirm this story, it would definitely not be the first time that this Administration has gone to great lengths to deceptively stage events and then for mainstream media to completely cover it up. Wasting our money on more exorbitant hoaxes should be exposed.

disgusting if true. I also understand that the buses were made in Canada. With all the talk of revitalizing manufacturing in the US, it is shameful to send that kind of job across a border.

I wonder how much money was spent on the rimzz alone?

I saw the title of this thread and all I thought was "the wheels on the bus go round and round". There must be some kind of metaphor to that.

That people are surprised at what the Obama says and does anymore is slightly shocking. I'd almost wish we could have a chance with Hilary again.

I posted this earlier this month. The twin million dollar Grayhounds are used for "presidential speaches" that sure look like campaigning to me. He justified the purcheses by saying future presidents can use them too!!!

The White House believes it's ethical to use funds to piggy-back campaign expenses on "presidential speech travel". Considering I work for the same people (tax payers), I'm going to schedule all my travel next year for site visits on the NASATX and TXMC schedules. I'm sure you guys won't mind. I'll do it to curb global warming.

This is ridiculous and expected.

To show her support for American workers, President Obama's labor secretary, Hilda Solis, has junked the standard black limo and purchased a new Chevrolet Equinox to ride around Washington in. The problem: the crossover SUV is built and assembled in Canada from parts also made in Canada.

"What better example could I set if I encouraged my staff to go and purchase and seek how we could acquire a vehicle that would for me would send a signal that we're for supporting our American workers, American-made products, fuel efficient as well," she told the Monitor's Dave Cook

Hilda Solis is a clusterfuck on wheels...what a surprise.

What she should have said is "buy GM, I'm a shill."

When you buy something made overseas because it's cheaper, the money you save may go to buying stuff made here that *is* cheaper than buying overseas.

Also, the USD you send to the overseas vendor, will get spent on stuff they want to buy from here, when it is made here cheaper than elsewhere.

That's my "Buy American" spiel.

Do you mean "Also, the USD you send to the overseas vendor, will get spent on stuff they want to buy from here, when it is sold here cheaper than elsewhere." ?
