On a lighter note...

Wrong house gets torn down based on a Google Maps error

It was going to be repaired, but demolition crews ended up a block away from their intended target.

This has turned out to be a pretty good series:

I haven't seen the last episode yet so, you know, spoiler = ban as usual.

This is one of the best I've seen in a while. The spin on breadlines is just genius.

someone else we know loves breadlines too. Bread so good!

Vermont’s Democratic socialist presidential candidate Bernie Sanders has sought to separate his views from those of tyrannical socialist regimes throughout history. The problem is that back in the 1980’s Sanders was outspoken in his support of communist dictator Fidel Castro as well as the Soviet-aligned Sandinista government in Nicaragua.

In fact, recently discovered video shows Sanders praising food lines as a good thing. Sanders asserts that countries where people don’t line up for food that the poor are starving to death because “the rich get all the food.”

The lack of logic here is astounding. In America and individual can buy a meal for under $2 if you’re not picky, and everywhere we go we are surrounded by stores stocked full of food. Free markets lead to abundance, controlled markets lead to shortages and rationing. This is common sense to anyone who isn’t a Marxist ideologue.

This is why we need free education.

Colorado Republican: Fracking Can?t Cause Earthquakes Because That?s God?s Job

There have been earthquakes long before we ever did fracking. Let’s be honest. You know God is kind of in control of those. And not by us drilling down in the ground and doing the fracking.

Is this the same "free" as "free health care"?

Really?

Maybe I'm just overly into that sort of dystopian political thriller, but I loved it. Didn't even realize there was going to be a second season until I finished the last episode, thought to myself "WTF just happened? You can't end the show that way!" and then googled it.

It's already been confirmed that if the rich were to pay their taxes like the rest of us, there would be enough money for free education. This includes community college.

I'm all for the "fair tax" or "flat tax", whichever you prefer.

As for the rich paying their "fair share", do you ever wonder HOW the rich are able to dodge taxes? Is it the "DC reach-around" where they pay for their tax loopholes? Perhaps if a fair or flat tax was instituted then NO ONE would be able to dodge taxes. More importantly, Washington lobbyists would suddenly find themselves much less powerful. Hmmm, I like that idea.

I've seen the government insert themselves into education (and health) for the past decade, and all I've seen from their meddling is an explosion in education costs and an explosion of student debt. I would NEVER involve the government more if I wanted school to cost less.

Wish the churches would also pay their fair share as well that way we dont have priests claiming that god wanted them to buy a plane with the donation money.

They are paying whatever they can. Unfortunately Obamacare didn't go far enough. Theres no reason why one hospital should be allowed to charge 10k for a blood test that really costs 40 bucks worth of laboratory time and tools. Thats one big reason why insurance costs are insane. The other one of course being advertising.

are you suggesting the rich don't pay their taxes like "the rest of us"?
