ISPs say they can’t expand broadband unless gov’t gives them more money

Industry asks for handouts, arguing that broadband is essential—like a utility.

Fun fact:

If you choose to live in a rural area, you gain many qualities of life. Peace, quiet, and easy access to game animals are among them.

You also sacrifice access to many amenities considered common by urbanites. Good sushi, close proximity to museums and parks, and broadband internet access are among them.

That may be the least objective, most biased opinion article trying to pass itself off as journalism I've read in a long time.

London mayor wants to ban cars in some areas after attack

Sadiq Khan says this would help keep people and buildings safe after car drives into cyclists and pedestrians.
remember folks, this is just something you have to get used to.

Cars are obviously the problem. There is no legal guarantee of personal ownership of automobiles. Car-free zones and maybe even confiscation of cars would solve the problem. It worked for stabbings.
