So long as we repeal dodd-frank at the same time. That would really ensure stability and growth and limit cronyism (like finally stop propping up fannie and freddie). that was serious, I'm actually okay with the idea of keeping commercial banks, banks, and keeping investment banks to raising capital and trading. I just also like to be a little bitch.
Oh wait. Did you just agree with Occupy on one point, didn't care on one, and as far as I can tell with the Corporate Personhood, refuse to further debate the last? :P

i've agreed with occupy on more than a few points at one point or another. I agreed with y8s on a few things last night, doesnt mean I'm going to signup with the ACLU and lobby congress for gay rights.
but yes, its one of those cases where the rulling probably makes a bit of sense considering the govt FDIC is still back most losses and the amount the backed was increased, giving them insentive to gamble. This is pretty cool considering the banks actually wrote the laws for the most part...owning the goverment must be fun. IIRC FDIC guarentees were impleminted with the glass-seagal act. So it didn't make sense to increase them when the law was repealed.
and yes, I dont care about the loophole. This is why I buy products online and sites that offer free shipping cause I hate paying taxes. I gotta stop using amazon becuase they are going to start collecting VA state tax.
and thirdly, I dont feel like debating it, I just dont agree that we should remove them from personhood status for numerous reasons.

close, but out of wedlock births for blacks is pushing 85% where the national average is still only around 30% or so.
back in the 1960s it was under 10% as an average.
it IS an issue. it puts a burden on everyone: the parent, the child(ren), and the state (taxpayer) who pays for it all.
apparently they are having babies faster than we are putting them in prision...it's almost like in africa, where they have nothing to do but makes babies, and die of starvating--a population of hungry illiterates becaus ethey dont live long enough to be able to teach their youth.
sorry, im not PC.

Multiple Choice: If we stopped giving them free handouts, would they:
A. Naturally slow reproduction because hunger instinctively reduces mammals' desire to breed.
B. Get a job to pay for their food, thus creating a time commitment during which they cannot procreate. Having a job also means they might have a disposable income to use for funding entertainment other than sex. (Sex is "free" entertainment)
C. Die of hunger
D. Realize that money has a value beyond merely a number; that it takes hard work to earn enough money to survive, and that having a child means less value or more hard work for themselves
E. All of the above
F. None of the above
