Caravan Of Liberal Americans Makes Way Toward Socialist Paradise Of Venezuela

MEXICO—A migrant caravan full of leftists desiring to enter the socialist paradise of Venezuela departed the United States Thursday and began marching toward through Mexico, stating they will demand asylum so they might experience the far better life that socialism offers.

The migrants claim they are leaving America because of its high standards of living, strong economy, and record employment numbers, and hope to find a better life in Venezuela's much more equitable system.

"Everyone there has the same quantity of possessions and food," said one marcher. "Everyone makes millions of dollars, and very few people work. It's a real paradise." The refugees have complex motivations, but the vast majority simply want to see everything socialism has to offer after suffering the amazing benefits of capitalism for too long.

Caravan organizers dispelled rumors that they were funded by Bernie Sanders, claiming the caravan was an organic grassroots movement.

At its current pace, the caravan is expected to arrive just in time for Venezuela to run out of food entirely.
this is satire, because Venezuela is not real socialism.

no one wants to take away your guns.

https://dailycaller.com/2018/11/29/g...rvative-media/

  • Google employees debated whether to bury The Daily Caller and other conservative media outlets in the company’s search function as a response to President Donald Trump’s election
  • “Let’s make sure that we reverse things in four years,” one engineer wrote in a thread that included a Google vice president
  • Google employees similarly sought to manipulate search results to combat Trump’s travel ban
Google employees debated whether to bury conservative media outlets in the company’s search function as a response to President Donald Trump’s election in 2016, internal Google communications obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation reveal.

The Daily Caller and Breitbart were specifically singled out as outlets to potentially bury, the communications reveal.

Trump’s election in 2016 shocked many Google employees, who had been counting on Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton to win.

Communications obtained by TheDCNF show that internal Google discussions went beyond expressing remorse over Clinton’s loss to actually discussing ways Google could prevent Trump from winning again.

“This was an election of false equivalencies, and Google, sadly, had a hand in it,” Google engineer Scott Byer wrote in a Nov. 9, 2016, post reviewed by TheDCNF.

remember that time Russia tried to meddle in our election by posting some dank *** memes on Facebook?

Total number of times the words "gun" or "firearm" or "weapon" appear in the linked article = 0. It seems to be mostly about a lot of introspective thought on the part of Google employees about how they might have influenced the outcome of the 2016 presidential election, and how they can fine-tune their influence in the 2020 election.

what if you replace guns with freedom of speech, and no one with liberals?

Then the total number of times that "freedom of speech" is mentioned in that article still = 0.

I know this may come as a shocking revelation, but media outlets have exerted influence over public perception ever since media was invented, circa 3400-3300 BC

Joe stop using your facts to debate Scott. We all know feelings are all that matter to him.

Like the surprising lack of posts about how Orange Boy's lawyer just plead guilty to even more charges, and trumps tax lawyers offices being rushed by the FBI.

there was no debate here. I was purposefully repeating the wrong NPC slogan. it was a joke that was missed -- Joe is too literal.

There's no point about talking about whether it was Jan or June. Still a nothingburger.

It's kinda like how censorship === free speech:

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/11/29/o...ee-speech.html

and now for my pun: but it's not real socialism.

I had to look up what "Deadnaming" meant.

"When you refer to a person who is transgender by their non-affirmed name, it can feel invalidating."

https://www.healthline.com/health/tr...der/deadnaming

That's because demanding to be universally called "Jane" in the context of legal paperwork or government ID, when your actual name is "John," is invalid. This seems obvious to me.

How to objective media, 2018:

“How different would things be if Donald Trump lost the presidential election? In fact, lots of people would probably be happy today. Let me go through a list. Donald Trump would be happy. He could have built his Moscow tower with his bestie Vladimir Putin and no one would’ve cared,” Todd began. “Michael Cohen would be happy, he’d still be Mr. Trump’s right-hand guy. Paul Manafort would be happy, he could be living in luxury anywhere around the world, sitting at a bar, not behind bars. Melania Trump, my guess is she would be happy, she could be living in New York still. And guess what, she really wouldn’t have to care, would she?”

He continued, “Republicans, they could be happy, they likely would have won 40 seats in the midterms and they might have a 60 seat majority in the Senate. Conservatives would be happy, those bigger Republican majorities could come in handy for them, in impeachment proceedings against President Hillary Clinton. Roger Stone and Bill O’Reilly would be happy, they’d be the big stars on Trump’s Max TV.”

“Rex Tillerson, Jeff Sessions, Scott Pruitt, Tom Price and many others would probably be happier than they are today. They’d still have their reputation intact. Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, John Kasich, Jeff Flake, Ben Sasse and who knows who else would be happy, because they’d be planning their next runs for president. And finally, there’s former FBI Director James Comey, he would be — no, he would still be at the FBI — no, strike that, I still think James Comey would’ve been fired,” Todd concluded.
so much incite!

On a related note: Why is nobody in the SJW world crying about how the appropriation of the word "violence" to describe non-violent conduct invalidates the experience of people who have actually been the victims of significant violence?

Equating words with actions is really being pushed lately. This is very dangerous. I'm not sure where it originated but it seems to be centrally planned as a talking point.

If words are accepted as violence, free speech is dead because violence is generally illegal. Unless the purpose is to de-value violence by saying it is protected as freedom of expression. In that case we lose our expectation of being free from physical harm.

Either way it is dangerous.

Perhaps the US' next major foreign war will involve shouting hurtful things at the enemy.

i love people like this who talk but say nothing... better are the people who think she is actually saying something intelligent.

This woman is a gift. She’s precious, special, and I’m seriously considering buying her a gift basket for Christmas. Something with fruit, chocolates, and a new Prada clutch. Better yet, a Lego set of the space shuttle. Give her something to tinker with as she’s noodling her next speech. Women support women.

Look it, I understand metaphors. Metaphors are the melted cheese to my golden-toasted, lightly buttered personality. But in order for metaphors to work, they need an element of truth via logic. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a socialist elected from a deep blue part of her state. Her election is on par with the moon landing as much as Ben Shapiro‘s chances of taking this year’s NBA MVP title from Lebron James.

Cortez was always going to be elected. She’s young, she’s pretty, she’s accidentally hilarious. She got constant media coverage from everyone, including us, who just found her too funny, we couldn’t not write about her. Abstaining from mocking her causes physical pain. She had an easy win. So to compare her electoral victory to great American milestones is inappropriate. I’ve no problem with people being proud of their accomplishments, so long as they don’t water down greater accomplishments to bolster their own. For the same reason I’m not fond of people comparing their trivial plight or just something they oppose, to the Holocaust. As Ocasio-Cortez did with the migrant caravan shutdown.

"This woman is a gift. She’s precious, special"

I don't know about precious, but she is definitely "special"

Finally figured it out. She reminds me of a Cuban girl who I had a serious crush on in high school, and who is looking pretty good in her 40s.

(Also also who isn't a communist.)
