Which potential GOP nominee would win in a knife fight?

I'm tired of seeing them argue, take cheap shots and irritate me in general. My solution is to select a Republican nominee for the 2012 election via knife fight.
Each potential nominee will be given a stranded WWII era 11" KaBar knife with a 7" blade, and be put in a coliseum like environment to fight for the nomination. There are no rules, no ties and NO MERCY.

Also, if you'll be voting for a republican nominee, who and why?

Cain is black. Clearly he knows how to wield a knife.

Id vote Ron Paul in a primary. I'll vote for whichever R in the big race.

He's the only R I can see myself voting for. I'd register as a R (currently registered as a D) to vote for him if I wasn't lazy.

Also, I think Cain would win in a knife fight but in the end it would be him and Perry and it would be close. Newt would get it first b/c he has a fat head, Paul would be gone pretty early on to b/c he's more of a lover then a fighter, and Bachmann wouldn't last too long either b/c she has weak woman arms and a :greddy: husband.

Ron Paul, in the coliseum, with a knife. He's a ninja. No one sees or hears him coming.

RP in primary also. I don't trust any of the others.

In a one-on-one coliseum setting, I would have to put money on Perry over the others. He seems to be the most fit and the most likely to have killed something with his bare hands.

In the primary... I am the most disillusioned I have been since Dubya vs Kerry. I think Ron Paul is likely the single most principled member of Congress and I am on-board with about all of his Libertarian positions such as foreign policy, recreational drug prohibition, immigration, etc. The one I disagree on is the one I think is most important: fiscal/monetary. In the short term, I think they would be unnecessarily brutal and in the long-term would restrict growth.

I think Romney has the best opportunity to be a more "center-right" type of politician that can actually get things done in a nuanced and collaborative way whereas Ron Paul and most of the others would be trying to fight everyone down hard ideological lines. Unfortunately, Romney also seems the one most likely to continue to foster crony capitalist cultures.

Cain has the appeal of both an engineering and a business background, but I am afraid he would run in to the same sort of problems Rick Scott has in the transition from Chief Executive of a business (largely autocratic) to Chief Executive in government.

My votes goes for Bachmann.
Bitches be vicious.

Gary Johnson just videotaped himself stabbing a homeless man to death and then uploaded it to Youtube.

I have changed my mind. The answer is: Warren Mosler as a write in.
  • His advanced understanding of the modern monetary system and his ability to communicate it in high level, technical fashion would cause Ron Paul to have a brain aneurysm.
  • His high-level understanding (and invention) of financial synthetic credit instruments and his great personal wealth would allow him to lure Romney in to dropping his guard.
  • Likewise, his engineering background and discussion of fast cars (using Chevy V8s!) and crazy boats would get Cain to drop his guard.
  • Perry would assume Mosler was just a nerd and would underestimate him completely.
  • I suspect Santorum and Huntsman would just surrender and walk out.
  • Bachmann is clearly the wild card here...

I am also assuming Mosler would take advantage of some technicality. For example, you said they would each be given a standard knife but you didn't say they would be limited to only using that as their weapon. Likewise, there is no mention of not being allowed the use of body armor...

I dont like Perry's plan of either your choice of 20% flat tax and/or the current system!

Ron Paul of course. Here's proof. Watch carefully from the 0:04 second mark:
