Rodney King...Fine Upstanding Citizen
Rodney King, whose videotaped beating by police led to the 1992 Los Angeles riots, has been charged with driving under the influence stemming from an arrest in Southern California last month.
According to CBS station KCBS, King was charged with two misdemeanor counts Wednesday. He was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol and marijuana. His blood-alcohol level was also allegedly higher than the legal limit when he was pulled over in Riverside County's Moreno Valley. If convicted, King faces up to a year in jail because of a prior DUI conviction in San Bernardino County. King, 46, has struggled with sobriety publicly and appeared on "Dr. Drew's Celebrity Rehab" in 2008 and "Sober House" in 2009. According to TMZ, King has a prior DUI from 2003 when he reportedly sped through an intersection at more than 100 MPH before crashing into a power pole and house. King's beating during a 1991 arrest, caught on videotape, made him a household name. A year later, the white officers in the beating were acquitted of federal charges which sparked days of rioting that killed 55 people and caused widespread damage. King is scheduled to be arraigned Friday. |
Isn't he broke again now? Having spent all the lawsuit proceeds…or was that someone else?
|
I just don't understand how he gets his ass kicked by 4 unfortunately white cops, and then gains celebrity status. Welcome to America I guess. Then a riot breaks out because of it and 55 people lose their lives. Now the country gets to see how much of a fine citizen he turned out to be.
|
Black cops probably would have kicked his ass too, thats what happens when you do PCP and try fight the popo, don't want to get beat up? Don't do stupid shit.
But who could have foreseen this upstanding citizen snorting his way through his fortune? Sounds like he needs to get kicked in the head some more. |
you need to tone down the racism, boy

(zack morris's phone)
Any use of the adjective black is rasicm |
Fact: where I'm from (Russia) they refer to blacks as niggers. There is pretty much no other term for them. NO ONE ever gets offended including the blacks there (and yes there are blacks there) because its a regular, non-offensive term. Why do biches get their shit in a knot here in US about it? Serious question.
|
Because when you call a black person a ------ (in anger/hate) in the US it's seen as a term that says "your less then human". Think of the history this country has in terms of racial issues, that history is what allows people to play the race card, get affirmative action, cause white guilt etc.

Facts are not politically correct. They are facts.
For instance…all of the non-African races around the world possess some Neanderthal DNA. That is a fact. I read about this in a science article that noted this detail among other things. Now…what does this mean? That is harder to get information about. |
cough Nazi scientists cough

All countries have racial issues.
Vlad, All countries have their own terms that are considered derogatory and others that are not. Some cross over to other cultures and some do not. Many American blacks are hypersensitized to any term denoting their race because they have been taught to irrationally look for racism in everything, and not because any of the terms are intrinsically negative. Most have also been erroneously taught that if they feel something then it must be. If they feel slighted, then it must have happened. Logic is the enemy and emotion rules all. This is further exacerbated by their culturally based social pressure to remain uneducated so as not to be perceived as "too white". This leads them to be plied by arguments that anything unfortunate that happens to them is because "the white man is keeping me down" as opposed to any true logic being applied toward determining cause and effect. These are, of course, generalizations subject to variation within a population, but I hope they offer some clarification of the issue. |
So the ones in question are voluntarily ignorant attention whores that would rather bitch and moan to get a handout than work at improving own lifestyle.
Gotcha. lol |
I'll make this easy for Vlad.
Steve Jobs retires and appoints a white CEO -- racist. NCAAP sues some company, forces affirmative action policies, company ultimately ends up hiring less qualified person, who happens to be black, due to said policies over a white person -- diversity. pretty simple concept to follow. Now you try, I'll throw in a twist... President Obama's economic policies especially hurt the black community. what say you? |

President Obama's economic policies especially hurt the black community. what say you? 1. It doesn't matter if his policies helped or hurt because he is a disadvantaged minority and should be graded on a curve, and 2. It doesn't matter if it helps or hurts because he had good intentions. 3. The black community? What are you, a racist? 4. We don't really want a solution for the black community because then they wouldn't need the Democrat party anymore. We need them dependent on a perpetual sense of being downtrodden so that they will always vote for Democrats to "save them". and 6. President Obama has economic policies? What did I win? |
the first three words on #1 are correct.
since trivia is fun: what policital party was Martin Luther King Jr.? |
