Does any of this surprise you? If there's one thing that the gov'ts around the world learned from WWII, it's that control of the media and propaganda is the key to maintaining power over the sheep.

I see so many posts in political threads in this forum that makes it obvious the poster shaped his opinion from the mass media's manipulation. The most classic are the various "left/right" talking points.

It's amazing how rare critical thinking is - especially when it comes to economics and politics - because I do see lots of critical thinking here when it comes to *technical* issues. I wish folks would take that same skill and apply it to the constant mass media propaganda.

P.S. did you see the thing about the exploding GM trucks in the last link? They lie not just about politics...

Its very hard to do that because of the lack of verifiable data. UNderstanding what happened in your combustion chamber can be accomplished with proper tools that readily available.

I appreciate the OP post, but there must be a point: like folks, pay attention, don't be fooled, etc. I canceled my cable some 10 years ago, and dumped TV some 2 years ago. My life is better since!

I think I may have figured out where the Statist Leftie bias of the media comes from. It's simply that the journalists all come from the same University system!

This bias in the University system is a result of Big Money funding Fabian Socialism thought in the universities since the 1930s:
