Won't be seen on Prime Time. America doesn't care when the shoe is on the other foot.

I am not sure if riots would be better or worse in Florida. When the LA riots happened, several Korean stores (victims of the black community's frustration with white cop violence?) were saved by armed residents but I have to believe the firearm-per-capita ratio in Sanford, FL is much higher than in Los Angeles, CA...

I have to think, if a genuine race riot broke out there, victims would not be sitting around watching stores burn while the cops let them work out their aggression.

Is Holder really trying to charge Zimmerman with a federal hate crime?

Meanwhile, someone finally decided to report the fact that that racist Zimmerman publicly challenged the police dept over the beating of a black man by the son of a white officer

Zimmerman complained about Sanford police in 2011

"I would just like to state that the law is written in black and white," Zimmerman said during a 90-second statement to city commissioners at a community forum. "It should not and cannot be enforced in the gray for those who are in the thin blue line."

So apparently Zimmerman's bond got revoked, and he has 48 hours to surrender and go to jail.

Falsely representing financials is what that are claiming.

He turned himself back in. Apparently, this has to do with the ~$200k raised from the website to pay for legal fees which may not have been fully or accurately disclosed during the bond hearings.

As far as I know, that money has been set aside in some sort of trust. If Zimmerman is not the trustee, he may benefit from the funds but will not be in direct control of them.

its a flight risk thing. they base bond on what he has. when you raise 200k in a week, the bond means little and you can run away with it. its stupid.

I had the news on at work and didnt catch all of it, but they were talking about the judge saying, because of the money thing, he felt zimmerman was no longer credible (I think that's the word they use), and apparently in a Stand your ground case it plays a big role.

They referred to an older case where a lady did something after she "Stood her crowd" which caused her to lose her credibility and ultimately the case against her.

Was busy so I only caught the broad strokes.

there was also something about him speaking to code with his wife about what to do with the money, who knows. very very odd twist to story.

Seminole County Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester revoked Zimmerman's bond Friday after learning that Zimmerman and his wife, Shellie Zimmerman, may have misled him about their assets when he set bond. Prosecutors demonstrated that Zimmerman had at least $135,000 that he did not disclose in a special PayPal account he had set up to pay for his defense.
Zimmerman and his wife testified at a bond hearing that they had little money. During the hearing, Zimmerman also apologized to Martin's parents. The judge set bail at $150,000 -- days later, Zimmerman was released after putting forth 10 percent of the total bail amount.

Seminole County Sheriff Donald Eslinger and George Zimmerman's lawyer Mark O'Mara, spoke at a news conference after the former neighborhood watch volunteer surrendered to police.

But prosecutors listened to recorded jailhouse phone calls and said the Zimmermans talked about the money "in code to hide what they were doing."

By concealing the defense contributions, Zimmerman benefited from a lower bond than he might have been granted had he and his family told the truth about how much money they really had, Lester said.

O'Mara said in a posting on the defense team's website that he would seek a new bond hearing, at which he would argue that "the vast majority" of the donated money was in an independently managed trust and that neither "Mr. Zimmerman or his attorneys have direct access to the money."

Wearing a casual, striped button-up shirt Sunday, O’Mara said that Zimmerman is concerned about his and his wife’s safety because of the “enormous anger and frustration and hatred that has spurred from this case.”
