That Fuller bitch needs to be taken out and beaten.

"I was out there the entire time," Cooper said. "I never left that lawn chair the entire time."

"I went out there to see what he was here for and he said, 'Ma'am, we're here for you.'
does not compute.
she was out there the whole time?
but when the cops rolled up, she "went out there to see what he was here for..."

Whether she was outside or not, the kids were playing outside! No danger, no arrest necessary. My mom never sat outside and watched us. But she was home, and usually the other moms were as well.

Maybe she went in to get another fifth of vodka? Or, maybe her neighbor is a cranky old bitch that needs to have some sense slapped into her?

I hate people. This trend of over protective parenting and the inability of a child to be alone, take risks, or be responsible for any of their own actions is getting out of control. Sure kids need some level of supervision but I mean really? I am only 22 and I remember running around the entire county with like 10 other kids on bikes unsupervised. Our parents always knew where we were going, we never vandalized shit, and we stayed safe. Sure sometimes we got hurt but you live and you learn and because we were never alone there was never a problem getting someone help if they needed it.

I read an article not too long ago talking about how now children are showing signs that they cannot properly evaluate risk because it has been taken out of everything. Even playgrounds have become too safe.

People need to stop trying to coddle their children and be helicopter parents and let their kids be kids. They especially need to stop trying to parent other people's children and just stay out of it unless the children are causing a real problem or doing something that is just overly dangerous.

It's now illegal to let children play outside? I guess police will arrest anyone and attempt to put anyone in the penal system, at any time, for any reason, as far as they can stretch it.

Out there, as in "out there to the street" from her yard.

She appears to have just slain a cheetah and is now wearing it.

There has to be some bad beef between this woman and her neighbor. In every neighborhood I've lived, kids that age are all over the streets and sidewalks. If it's a crime for kids to play unattended, 99% of the parents alive should be locked up. The crazy bitches are the ones who don't trust the kids to play unattended.

If you can trust a kid to ride a motorized scooter, you can surely trust them to play unattended.

Agreed, but more importantly, why did the cops not check the situation out then just leave?

After living in Texas for 10 years myself this sort of thing does not surprise me, I came to realize how severely F’d up a lot of the natives are about behavior in civilized society. Evangelicals and home schoolers are a big part of it however the evangelicals tend to take over the school boards of public schools as well. I played outside unsupervised almost every day at that age and walked or road my bike several miles unsupervised to and from school as well but I didn’t live in Texas at that age. I don’t think it is just Texas thing though it’s a whole bible belt sort of thing.
Another thing about playing outside around Huston is it is usually miserable outside most people stay in the air conditioning.
