1.6 build not running right

Hi everyone, i'm new to the forum and was wondering if i can pick your brains. I've been building my track/road car for the past year in what spare time I've had and its almost complete but i cant seem to get it running right. i brought the car turbo charged and had the engine rebuilt by a good friend of mine and since doing so the engine seems to be bogging down at every point in the rev range. I have changed a few things with the engine to improve reliability, such as begi coolant reroute kit, oil cooler kit, baffle plate, etc. i don't think any of these changes would cause the car to run like it is but the other changes such as changing the intercooler pipes from 2" to 3" might and I've also taken off the begi FPR and installed a sard FPR. the car is running a map ecu 2 at the minute and i have a new megasquirt ecu waiting in the passenger foot well but before i install it i want to bed the engine in on the original set up. i probably haven't explained this well so anymore information you guys need to get me out the poop just let me know and it would be very much appreciated.

Kind regards Ben

Not familiar with MAP ECU2 (?). Going from 2 to 3" IC pipes will not have a significant effect, either positive or negative. Changing the FPR may have really messed things up -- I shudder to think that people still use bandaids in 2013.

Do you have a WBO2? What's it reading?

Do you have a way to log spark advance?

Is your timing belt installed correctly (and, as part of this verify that TDC on the crank gear = TDC with a dipstick installed in a spark plug hole)?

Assuming timing belt correct, ignition timing set correctly?

Compression/leakdown?

BTW, you're English. You should use your language better . . . capitalization, punctuation, paragraph structure. Makes it easier for the rest of us to understand.

What's the wideband say?

(Hint: If your answer to this question is "I don't have one", then you should skip the flaming and general embarassment by purchasing one and installing it before answering the question.)
