Those are great numbers if they are accurate.

270hp with 15-16 psi on a 1.6L is awesome. but my skeptical side thinks you're more around 220hp or so.

nonetheless, im sure your car is fast and fun. and this all that matters. :skid:

Thanks man, I appreciate it. How do you like the 12k/8k setup? I am thinking of going that route

I like it, i had 8k/6k setup originally, which was fine and comfy on the street with good performance, but on the track the springs would bottom out and i felt like i am riding the bump stops too much in fast sweeping turns. so i swapped the front 8k springs to the back, and ordered new 12k front springs along with 4 new shocks from BC with the proper valving for 12k/8k.
12k/8k is noticeably stiffer on the street, but the car is still very comfy to drive, not jarring at all.
on the track its great too, no more bottoming out and very compliant and predictable handling.

funny, I have the 8k/6k and similar issues with too much roll now that I have the superstickies 225 rival s. I have Bilsteins though, also got my springs from BC.

Yes its the stock 1.6 vlsd

To hear some guys say it, the stock 1.6 will blow up if you just look at it sideways. :dunno:

it doesn't really lock up predictably in cornering, esp tighter corners, and quick transitions

here's my shopping list and what I've bought so far: https://www.miataturbo.net/diy-turbo...4/#post1485022

the first post is a bit of a mess :o

Ebay Intercooler "kit":
IC https://www.ebay.com/itm/CXRacing-Universal-27x5-5x2-5-Turbo-Intercooler-For-CIVIC-RSX-TOYOTA/180683410352?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid =p2057872.m2749.l2649
pipes https://www.ebay.com/itm/142355448493
2.5 > 2.0 reducer x2 https://www.ebay.com/itm/132625513800
BOV https://www.ebay.com/itm/201072425402
Total: $203

$124 difference over CX racing and thats using their own intercooler :giggle:
you could go cheaper with a $50 IC from another ebay seller but its hard to get a true bar and plate from them... but anything is better than nothing I suppose. (which is what a lot of people are saying about the CX racing one too :D)
