1.6 turbo build options

I have a 1991 1.6 Miata with forged internals from a recent rebuild.

I'm planning on getting the FM no electronics kit, which according to the site is just the FM II kit minus injectors, ECU and boost controller. I'm hoping for 225-250 HP at the wheels.

I need an ECU and I want to go aith a DIY variant:
Should I go with a MegaSquirt PNP Gen 2 for $800 or a DIYPNP kit for $425?
I know how to solder and am not afraid the assembly, just not sure if this is my best options.

I also need a boost controller and injectors. I'm probably just going to pick up the 700c injectors from FM.
Should I get FM's TurboSmart boost controller or something from DIYAutoTune with the MegaSquirt?

Any other advice for my build is appreciated. I know I'll probably blow the 5 speed trans and my vLSD but I'll just run those stock until they blow up then fix it. I'll probably go with the FM Happy meal clutch kit too.

DIYPNP over the MSPNP, lots of discussion comparing the two here.

Get the DIYAutoTune EBC. EBC>MBC. Again, lots of discussion here about EBC.

If you can solder, buy the cheaper one. My understanding is the PNP gen2 is just a pre built DIYPNP. The expensive one is not a DIY ecu, it's a plug and tune setup.

I don't know what a turbosmart is, but I'd want to use EBC in tunerstudio if it were me.
