I have a 1.6 turbo with a speedy efi ECU and rx8 injectors. Now I know not everyone is a fan but at the time it was a cost wise purchase. My problem is that when I installed rx8 injectors the car does rough idle hunting from 13.2 to 15.6 back and forth. The required fuel is calculated to be 6.4 and it's a batch injection. So what could be causing this issue. The car idled okay with the tan top injectors but the rx8 yellows it's awful and rough and cant even get a stable idle. I am lost here.

 

Firstly did you pull the RX8 injectors straight out of an RX8? If not you most likely bought knock off injectors. So who knows what their actual flow patterns and sizing is.

Then post tunes and logs.

 

They were pulled out of a working rx8 cleaned and flow matched. They flood the engine if there is too much fuel but if I pull some they start going back and forth.

 

We need these.
