1.6L oil feet port plug picture needed.

I'm pulling the turbo off my 1.6 and need to put the plug back in my block for the oil. I think I found the correct bolt in my big box o' bolts, but I was wondering if anyone had a picture of the plug bolt to make sure I'm using the right one. I can see me using one too long and blocking the oil passage or something stupid like that, so I just wanted to make sure.

Just for clarification, this is the plug on the early 1.6 blocks, near the rear of the engine block, down low on the driver's side.

it's a very short threaded section, and the nut head is like half the height of a normal nut, and there's a ridge around the edge and might have an M or something stamped on it. want MS Paint?

a bought a ~1/2" bolt from lowes-- M10x1.5 and it was fine.

You don't have to worry about blocking any passages. The main oil galley is on the intake side of the block, and the turbo oil outlet is at the end of a very long (several inches) drilled passage which services nothing else. In the later blocks, it's not even drilled out, even though the casting for it is still there.

Worst-case with an overly long bolt would be that it doesn't go in all the way, as the threaded portion of the hole is fairly short.

God I love this forum. You guys are awesome. That sounds like the one I've got. It was a weird looking little bolt compared to the others, so I figured it was special.

Don't forget the copper gasket.
