1.8 manifold DXF file (Cad)
I'm assuming by all the dead links that this is hard to find? Anyone have a copy?
If not I'll measure off a gasket and post whatever I draw here. :p I understand that I can buy this part easily, but I have the tooling to make it myself, so I'd rather go that route. |
I still have it. Shoot me a pm with your email and I'll give it to you.

Intake or exhaust side?
|
Hi Dark Wanderer, I wanted to send a pm but I am a noob and need another 14 posts before I can do so.
I am interested in fabricating a turbo manifold for my 1.8 mx5. I have access to a cnc laser that can cut 10mm steel. It would be great if you can forward me a copy of the drawing you mentioned to the following email theoxygenthief@yahoo.com Thanks |
Thanks to some helpful forum members I managed to get a cad drawing :D
I put a model in the 3d warehouse if anyone is interested http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehou...7620323f16bab9 |

got a bigger pic than that? 1.6, 1.8 na, or 1.8 nb head? and does anyone have the flange for the intake side for nb1 heads? if i can find the flange for the intake side, it will save me having to cut up a perfectly good NB intake manifold and will still prob be cheaper... |

The drawing is for a 1.8 nb exhaust flange and can be viewed, dimensioned, edited etc in Google Sketchup. (I haven't got any drawings for the intake side.) |
thanks, I was looking for that too

I highly reccommend you just buy the flange from Straight Line Specialties. Its machined with ports that transition from oval to round, I bought one in stainless for $110 and it is a BEAUTIFUL piece. Blows anything waterjet or laser cut right out of the water, and its only $55 in mild steel - a bargain if you ask me!
