Default Help me decide on new turbo

So I talked to Abe on a couple of different setups and I think I'm gonna go with a taco taco manifold and abes DP, so I have to chose a turbo with a t3 flange.
I found this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GODSP...#ht_4346wt_992
But I feel like it might be to big, it looks like it's similar size to a gt2871

And this one
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GODSP...#ht_3645wt_948
But I feel like that one might be kinda small and it would be a pointless upgrade from my td04-19t

What do you guys think?

If you plan to build your engine in the future I'd definitely go with the larger turbo. Headroom never hurt anyone. You yourself were saying before how you're bored with 250whp. Getting the smaller turbo would mean you won't be able to have the option of having more power should you choose to do so down the road.

big turbo > small turbo

But I"m biased

The first one looks similar to the one I got from tacotaco when I bought my cast mani last year. I think mine is a .50ar compressor though

You should not have a problem with the 2871 similar turbo. i saw it on a 1.6 and liked it.

Btw this would be accompanied by a 3" straight through exhaust no muffler, and yes I plan on building the motor in a few months.

why not build your motor first so you can actually have fun with as setup making more power than what you have now...you're at the theoretical limit.

If I blow my motor I have an excuse to build and my wife won't nag.
