At least they labeled it for you. You wouldn't want to get it confused with something like a windshield wiper motor.

lmao, right.

I'll be watching this thread for sure

ZX-Tex 03-26-2009 01:27 PM

Hey that looks like a decent unit. The blade shapes look good. I'll be watching too.
Ball bearing or journal?

Gotpsi? 03-26-2009 01:28 PM

You didn't mention where it came from.

Looks similar to my egay t28...except my t28 says TB28 on the side rather than gt28...wonder what the difference is

leatherface24 03-26-2009 04:28 PM

probably no difference

y8s 03-26-2009 04:45 PM

difference = seller support!

leatherface24 03-26-2009 04:49 PM

you blow your motor because it had something to do with this turbo and you really think the sellers on egay are going to give a rats ass?

rogezeus2003 03-26-2009 11:33 PM

I had one of Emusa's turbos in my civic and ran it hard for 6 months and when I sold the car the turbo was in perfect shape just like the first day. Oil restrictors are the key for their survival.

Good on 'ya for pulling the trigger, I'll be eagerly awaiting your results. When does it go on?

NA6C-Guy 03-27-2009 01:49 AM

Wow, that looks pretty good. Have you by any chance checked alignment with a manifold and/or DP? To see if bolt holes line up, and everything seems legit, and not done by a 12 year old in a sweat shop.
