3" downpipe fabrication from a 1.6 "FM kit"

Hey guys, I am currently getting pieces ready to finish up my turbo setup, but I'm still lost on what to do with the downpipe. The easy way would be to get the FM elbow and downpipe (will they fit on a nissan t25 turbo though?), but I was wondering if there would be enough room to make a 3" downpipe off a t25 turbo on an FM manifold.

I found an outlet flange (universal t25/gt25/28 flange) and an oval-to-3" transition from ATPturbo along with tight-radius 3" 90* bends from other places, so getting the parts is no problem, I'm just worried about space between the turbo and firewall/hoses/brake master cylinder, and also between the engine/transmission and frame.

Any advice?

Thanks!

Yes their elbow will fit that T25. SR20 I'm assuming?

I'm not so sure 3" right off the turbo will work with that manifold. It sits the turbine housing so close to the heater hoses and firewall shelf that it requires a very tight radius bend to get it to clear. Someone might have done it though so I will reserve my skepticism.

You can source SS 3" oval tubing, including mandrel bends. (Burns maybe?). An oval cross section will give you a little more clearance than a 3" round pipe.
