4 wire O2 sensor p/n?
Looking for a part number on a four wire O2 sensor.
Do the 94+ O2 sensors fit the 90-93? |
No, the '90-'93 cars had one-wire sensors so any 4-wire you get has to be made to fit (requires a +12v source for heater, Gnd for heater, signal wire to ECU and Gnd for signal wire). I bought one for a mid-90s Chrysler (Dodge Intrepid, mayhaps) for ~$37 because it was the cheapest I found.

brian,
thanks, i know it has to be wired into a 90-93. i'm searching ebay for a cheap, new bosch O2 (4 wire). i found some for 94-05, just wondering if they fit (thread/pitch) |
All bung threading is standardized. I got mine on Ebay:

They go under "NTK" |

Yup, Cliff's old instructions are where I got my part #13275 . See, not everyone on M.net is an unhelpful ass who knows nothing about cars :)

I used those instructions and that part # too. Worked great. The clerk at the parts shop was pleased that he didn't even have to look it up since I had the part # .
I highly recommend the heated sensor upgrade! |
