6 speed in my na? will it work?
just curious if a 6 speed out of an nb will bolt up to a 1.6 and fit. yes? no? kind of?

Dont you need the driveshaft and rear end also? I have never looked into 6 speed swaps but that is just what I have gathered through browsing. Also, what about the PPF?

The driveshaft/rearend are completely independent of the transmission. Any NA/NB driveshaft will mate to any NA/NB transmission. The driveshaft size is based on the differential. A 1.6 differential requires a 1.6 driveshaft, and a 1.8 differential requires a 1.8 driveshaft. The 1.6 diffs were longer, and so the 1.6 driveshafts were shorter. PPFs were identical on all years.
