no. but FM said he has there 2 L stroker motor in it and as you can see he has added some custom work. i am sure he is also using race gas to get that much power.

wow, why don't you try the search feature????!!!! this car has been discussed many times.

KPLAFIN 09-15-2008 07:20 PM

Has it been discussed since it became a white NB? Last time I remember seeing it here he still had the motor in the yellow NA shell.

I'm pretty sure when I posted up the same motor (not that EXACT motor, but the same build) in an Escort GT RWD drag car, that miata was the white NB..

MattEGTR 09-15-2008 09:38 PM

Hmm, the STP Escort is slower, and IIRC made more power... weird.

Yeah thats been posted up on here since the new shell. Its still badass though.

The car's owner is involved with our local Miata group. This white NB owns the yellow NA in so many ways. He would drive the yellow NA on the street and it was impossible to hook it up on street tires. The guy that owns V8Roadsters.com is also in our group. He has a couple of bad ass LSx Miatas. Funny thing is the motor looks like it belongs there. Pics do not do them any justice.

Steve and Shandelle at v8roadsters are great to work with. I'm about %75 done my conversion. I'm FINALLY picking up the motor this weekend to drop it in (or actually drop the car onto it). Hopefully I'll have my LS6 Miata running by the end of the month.
