750cc or larger Deatschwerk drop in injector
 

I'm probing around to see if you guys want these. I know a couple of people have requested them, but I can't get availability to them if I don't have a known demand.

If you want these put your name and size down here that you want and I'll see what I can do.

not to bag on Deatscwerks, but I'm curious at what injector size the high impedance and high dead time values are going to cause idling issues.

I would have to test them to see what I could do. THe current ones I can idle at about ~15.2 Leaner then that, and the injectors become unstable. I would imagine with 750's we'd be talking more about 13.9-14.7 idle, but I'm just guessing at that point.

I could see about low impedence with the right connector. For the adaptronics it doesn't require any specific modification so for me a low impedence "big boy injector" would be great.

1200's let me know if you can get em' for E-85 ;-)

Ok, so we'll bring the conversation back to where the action is... Sorry for the confusion.

My only concern, or rather, my only possible projection of DW's concern, would be in that OEM form, the high-impedance and low-impedance injectors have a very slightly different electrical connector on them. From Braineack's FAQ on this site:

I honestly don't know if the mating connector will care about one style vs. the other, but I have to wonder how DW would feel about putting the "wrong" connector on an injector.

Personally, I'll be purchasing a set of lo-z 750s from somebody to go onto Jessica in the next few months. Since I have a spare INJ harness for the new motor as well, I can just as easily use whatever connector the injectors I buy wind up with, but I can't really speak for anyone else. 1000cc is way too big for my projected needs, sadly.

The E-85 crowd, by comparison, might be a market for 'em.

My low-z rx7 550cc injectors flowed ~590cc after being cleaned and flowed. That's at base pressure. So if I were to get a good 190HP Walbro and up the pressure I'm sure I wouldn't be maxing out my injectors any time soon. Another great thing about the low-z rx7's is that they have some of the shortest opening times. At 14V it is about 0.6ms.

I have 750CC low impedence injectors and I use a DSM resistor pack FYI

FYI, running inline resistors pretty much defeats the purpose of having lo-z injectors in the first place.

Set of four lo-z 780cc injectors for $289. No picture, not much of a description. Says "100% drop-in fitment (no connectors or adaptors required)" but doesn't say what connector they have, and since this is under the "Universal Fitment -> Import" page, I can't imagine that they're plug-n-play on every vehicle ever made in Brazil, Japan, China, Italy, Korea, Germany, Croatia, France, Russia, India, South Africa, Romania, etc.

I paid $385 on eBay for a set of high-z RC750s. What kind of price point are we looking at?

I'm running Deatchwerk's 750cc plug and play injectors. I'm still tweaking the map, but the idle and off idle response seems to be happiest right around 13.8 AFR.

There's a very good possibility of this being attributed solely to user error though :)

Hence my desire for low-impedance injectors.

Thats wrong ill have the website changed, those are just universal injectors, and we can provide the clips needed. They are Low Z.

I see 780cc injectors listed, are these Denso style tops? I am going to be needing 750cc saturated injectors soon - are there going to be PNP low impedance 750cc injectors on the horizon soon?
