96+ oil lines

Hey guys,

I was wondering how long of a -4an line i need for a 96 + bp. I plan on using a T off of the pressure sending unit, although id assume a sandwich plate would need about the same length.

Please let me know what your setup is, what type of line you are using, length, and whether you are using a T fitting or sandwich plate.

My setup is a sr20det T25 on an older style FM manifold.

I used 48 inches but thats because I got the line for free.

If you could make a custom one, id say 40 inches would be ideal to reach around the back of the motor.

I did the same thing by T'ing off the pressure sender and it took about 42 inches and i went around the back of the engine.

haha for some reason i thought it was "british standard pipe thread"...hence the bspt

Saml01 12-09-2008 04:18 PM

Thats cause it is BSPT.

I use the tuner toys T, and its been fine.

96+ doesn't have the port available on the driver side like a 95?
