I didn't get a solid feel for it, I just went out and back and was nervous as anything. And it was cold and tires were rock hard. But yeah, sorta maybe felt like my old 2560 setup ~260rwhp, once the turbo spooled. 2560 BP feels faster due to quicker spool for sure.

more videos will come eventually for sure. After the winter. Sooooo much salt at the moment. I'm going to try a third shop to balance the driveshaft, hopefully pull it this weekend.

hahaha. I hope the new intake mani will be further epic. Parts of it are/were, it's just a bitch getting it to fit under the hood.
I dunno. Probably most likely, yes.

Wow it's been a while. Lots of rain up in these parts. Replaced all the alignment eccentrics and stayed off the roads until I got an alignment, which took way too long than it should have.
But cruising on the back roads or the highway showed me that I need an oil cooler of some sort. Eventually the oil temps would reach north of 240F at the remote oil filter housing, not sure how high it would ultimately go but I don't want to find out. This would cause the engine coolant to also climb into the mid 210's (low 200's typical). Also oil pressure at idle when the oil temps were that high was not where I want to see it.
I went with the Earl's 16 row ~15x6x2" cooler and their new brackets which look like the Setrab brackets. The Earl's cooler uses common -10AN o-ring fittings and the cooler is inexpensive. Looks to be decent enough quality. The brackets fit the car with minimal drama. Typical oil cooler locations on my car are already occupied so after too much staring I decided to mount it horizontally below the opening in the bumper. I cut a small hole to feed it and built sealing shrouds to keep the air pressure in. Everything is above the bottom of the front lip. I will just have to be extra careful when backing out some driveways. I may build a skid plate on the front but probably not.
Enough words, more pics. I swear I will get more videos at some point in my life.
The cooler with brackets and a simple temp sensor mount block I made which conveniently uses the -10AN o-ring fittings supplied with the cooler. I used Russel tight R 90's screwed into the cooler to save a half inch or so.
Now to finish making the lines, screw everything together, change the 5W30 Royal Purple out for some 5W40 Rotella T6.

Thanks. Yeah, I get to play on MT.net while I'm at work (unofficially). Currently designing a new lifter tie bar for some Roush roundy-round engine.

Wife and I took it out last weekend to make sure no oil leaks on the oil cooler. I probably will invest the $90 into a thermostat. Yeah yeah I know.
But I was too inebriated to drive home, so she drove it, and did not like the lack of power steering, just like me.
I want to find a spare hood to hack up and install an EVO vent. LIke this one:

I still want to finish the new intake manifold, and do a large fuel system, and grow ***** to rev it to 8k, and get some 9" 6UL's/Rivals, and paint it, and....never ends.
