AEM UEGO 30-4110 help

Morning Miata turbo heads....

first post here and first ever turbo build, go easy

So I thought I was all good and on the road to success till my exhaust man confused the hell out of me. He currently has the car to fabricate the manifold and downpipe and asked the question, 'do you want an extra bung for the wideband? '

So my question, do I need 2 bungs? Or am I correct in thinking I only run the wideband? I am using the ME221 standalone ecu

Thanks guys

Technically, you can keep your stock sensor installed, unplug its connector near the CAS, and have both o2's in the downpipe, but i wouldnt see the purpose in that if you can manage to remove the stock sensor altogether. Just install the wideband in its proper location and dont splice in to the factory harness. The aem is a nice set up. Is the ME221 a megasquirt or no?

Thanks for the reply man, that was the original plan and how FM reccomend it in their guide.

ME221 is very similar to MS but they are UK based, it was reccomended to me by a few people, I'll see how it goes :-)

No problem. that's whats up. report back if you have any issues. anyways, the more bungs the merrier, since you can always just put a plug on em.
