afpr question
sorry, brain fart this morning....for the begi afpr, is it to make it more lean turn to the left or right? thanks

the more you open the bleeder (counterclockwise), the less pressure (leaner).
|
ok, last dumb question...if its still rich with the bleeder all the way open, next step is to loosen the top nut and loosen (counterclockwise) the allen bolt a little, then tighten nut and adjust with bleeder....right?

need restrictor in vacuum line.

Your Begi AFPR should have come with a VERY SMALL plastic restrictor plug. If it did not, call Begi on Monday and Steph will send you one. With my Walbro 190hp and no bleeder, I could not dial my fuel pressure down below about 110psi... and it make tuning a royal pain. With the bleeder, I had full adjustability from 80-130psi very accurately.
You could try a poor mans method and use a zip-tie to reduce the diameter of the line. |
or the stick from a can of wd-40
|
ok, cool. thanks for the help. one last question, does the check valve go on the line for the signal line, or the barb from the needle valve?
|
goes on the bleeder, so it can allow excess pressure to bleed off, but does not introduce a vaccum leak.... acutally I guess it doesn't matter, might work as your restrictor on the source line
