Alfa Romeo Turbo?

I've got a turbo off of a 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia Q2.
A friend if mine gave it to me, and I was wondering if it would be possible to use it in a turbo build. Well, rather if it woud worth it. I'm not made of money, and I'm looking to spend like $2k to run about 200-220hp.

I figure having a free turbo would certainly help lessen the cost, but if I have to put a bunch of money it to make it fit then it's kind of moot. I'll attach a couple photos as well.

Let me know if you guys happen to know anything that may be helpful. Or even of any kits that are worthwhile. I want a small turbo that spools quickly.

Thanks

Well,
first things first. If you have a welder and the skills to build your own manifold, exhaust, intercooler piping, then you CAN make it happen "cheap"...
This turbo seems to have some kind of electronically controlled wastegate. Of course you can weld the wastegate shut and run an external gate (which is best, but good external gates are expensive) and your exhaust will be even more complicated to build.
You can measure inducer size of the turbo, to somewhat guess how it will perform.

One big plus is the twin scroll exhaust housing, which helps spool significantly. Another thing to notice in this regard is, that you have to build some nice flanges for the exhaust manifold and downpipe/exhaust housing.
edit: You have to be very clever with WG placement or twin scroll WG flanges to avoid boost creep!

If it would be me, I wouldn't use that thing, unless I'm a very bored man :D

Search for a cheap cast manifold (ebay, they work and wont crack after 2 heat cycles), a used internally gated garrett T25 turbo and build your own stuff around it.
If you can't build your own stuff, go with kraken, mk turbo, etc. and turbo your car in 2 weekends

You're going to spend more to make that thing work than to get something like a T25 chinacharger, or pulsar or something

put that thing up for $50 and buy yourself a nice dinner to thank yourself for avoiding headache, heartache, and a perpetual project car

I have someone who could weld for me and he's pretty dang good, but I don't think either of us have the skills or experience to make it happen for cheap lmao. I'm thinking of going with a Kraken kit. I know it's more expensive than I want to build for and I still need a standalone and some other fun, expensive things, but it seems very high quality and headache free.

As for Dr. Sep or suggested I sell it for $50, you must be insane. A whole turbo in great shape off of a "nice car" is easily worth $53
