Another LC1 Question

So this weekend I want to install the LC1 into my 91 stock Miata and I read some posts for about 1 to 2 hours last night. I think I'm all set with the wiring, but one thing that I noticed that was sprinkled in the posts was a few recommendations to NOT emulate a narrow band and have it feed into the stock ECU. It seemed most of the posts were for 95 and later Miatas that have the heater feed back to the ECU, so I'm not sure if that was the reason or not. I guess my question is: Is using the LC1 in narrow band simulation worth the effort?

The reason I want to do this is because, believe it or not, I actually have a plan. I'm almost done assembling my diyPNP (just need to connect all the jumpers), I have the turbo kit in my basement, but I didn't want to put in all the goodies at once. Actually lists are easier to read than paragraphs, so here it goes:

1) Install LC1 in stock miata (stock O2 sensor location), stock ECU, drive for 1 - 2 wks
2) Install diyPNP, learn how to data log, autotune, etc.
3) If I didn't f* anything up at this point, larger injectors
4) variable TPS
5) Turbo kit

Does anyone have any reason why the LC1 should not work in the stock location emulating a narrow band for 1 -2 wks. This car is my wife's daily driver btw.

It will work fine for narrowband emulation, so long as the LC-1 is wired up correctly.

That's what I was hoping to read! Thanks Ben

That is how I ran my LC-1 when I nitially did my MS1 standalone swap in order to be able to easily swap the factory ecu back in on my 91. It worked with no issues. I would swap on the variable TPS as soon as possible. Really no use to run without it. I ran for less than half a day with the 91 TPS before installing the 5.0 TPS. What TPS will you be using?

I'm not sure which variable TPS I'll be using yet. I haven't made it that far into my research. I feel like I'm going to have my hands full figuring out how to get the MS to work. I think I have a saved post that discusses some variable TPS options though. Actually, I think I just followed the link in the "super important MS post"
