Anybody got any Miata AEM F/IC maps?
If all goes well, I'll be able to throw a rough tune on the car by Friday before I travel across town to install the clutch. Sure would be nice to have someone's map to look at :)
email is KA24DET@gmail.com Thanks in advance if anybody'sgot one? |

sweetmeatz on miata.net was the first. He is boosted as well. I will let him know you are looking for a map. IIRC last time I talked to him he was NOT running a dynotuned map, and that was saturday. I think he lurks on here too. |
kickass I'd appreciate it bigtime. I don't intend to dyno mine anytime in the forseeable future. I always street tune and have never had a problem, it just takes forever :(

hey i'm boosted and running the same thing i just finished tunning it on 10psi with 550s you can try my map but if you hit boost your going to probably break up.. let me know if you want it or not pm me

I am using AEM with RX7 550s at 16+ psi. Stock 94 engine, T3 60 trim. GM boost solenoid, AEM 3.5 bar MAP sensor. I can provide the tuning map if you like.

I have the AEM set up to do some other cool things like run the auxilliary radiator fan with the A/C off, use the check engine light as a knock sensor light, overboost fuel cut, etc. Let me know if you need instructions.
Other sensors I have: knock sensor from a GM Saturn (similar resonant freq. to Miata 1.8), AEM wideband O2, GM air intake temp sensor. I am not using the stock MAF. I am using the stock ignition with the plugs gapped to about .025. You can use some of the existing wiring to minimize running extra wires. You can tap into the diagnostic connector for the boost solenoid. I am using the ground and 5V wires on the EGR for the MAP, just need to run one wire for the signal. Let me know if you need more info. Regards, Barry |
