Default Oil Feed Line Question

Hey Guys,

We are working on sourcing the feed line items in -3. So far we have the feed line itself, 24" long, with a straight -3 female, and a 90 degree -3 female. We were able to find the -3 fitting for the OEM port, but wanted to ask you guys about it.

The fitting we have is a 10mm x 1.5 to -3AN, but it does not have an o-ring, it seals like a brake fitting, with an inverted flare at the bottom. So will this work on the OEM port, or do we need to source one with the o-ring?

Thanks from Craig

on a stock car, the port is plugged with a 10mmx1.5 bolt with a copper washer. So you dont need an o ring or anything... just 10mmx1.5 threads on one side and the -3 on the other side with a hex body so you can screw it in.

pretty sure the greddy supplied line has no o-ring, i'd like a shorter line as the greddy line is about a foot too long

that's perfect...can you provide a copper washer and make the line 36" long? then you'd be good to rock out with your **** out.

and then fitting options for your turbo, not just the Greddy...like a 1/8" -3an for T3s and a 7/16-24 inverted flare - 3AN for T25s????

We have the 1/8 and the 7/16 fittings, and will have them in kit form for the Miatas here shortly.

Why 36" on the feed line? We were under the impression that 24" would be okay from the OEM feed port. Were we way off on this?

With my setup, 24 inches was just enough. A longer line wouldent hurt, it would just allow for the differences in everyones DIY kits. I say go with a 32 inch ish line.

I'm pretty sure if i drew a straight line from my feed line directly to the feed port on the block it would be longer than 24"
